I really can’t see the Spurs chairman allowing their best player to join a league rival for anything other than silly money. He is walking on a tight rope with Spurs fans as it is after the Super League nonsense. Is there any club who would pay at least £150m post covid for a player who will be 28 next season with common injuries over the last couple of years? He has three years left on his contract so Spurs are in no rush to sell. He also seems like a player that although he might want to move on elsewhere, he will not throw a tantrum about it should they tell him they don’t want to sell.

I think there is a better chance of Kane staying than leaving this summer. In a positive situation for Spurs as a club from this might be that it can put pressure on the board to invest in rebuilding the club back to a standard of challenging for titles and getting to CL finals like they did in recent years so that they can keep ahold of their best players.

Yeah was trying to follow that but seems all strange. Wherever Chelsea finish in the league there will need to be a gap filled, god knows how UEFA sort that though. Take the confusion out and hope they concede another here.

I wasnt his greatest fan at Hibs but he's clearly done very well at Blackpool and living locally he's very well thought of. He's had a good season. We all know players can struggle at one club but shine at another, whether that be the players around you, the Manager or style of play etc.

Don't blame you on the confused part. My point was more to do with we needed Chelsea to finish fifth (then won the champions league final) to guarantee us group stage football had we won the Cup. Something in sure St Johnstone fans will now be paying close attention to!

If the SPFL had any sense, they'd be using the potential for next season to really sell our game to broadcasters - Gerrard going for his second title, Celtc under new management trying to stop them, Edinburgh derby, Dundee derby, Aberdeen under new management, St Johnstone trying to build on a terrific season...

A lot to like about the league next year, but it'll be the same media coverage that's been in place that gives zero ****s about us.
