His goal in that semi against Falkirk was one of his highlights when he was breaking into the team.
Unfortunately, the broken ankle he suffered against Motherwell at the start of the following season basically ended his Hibs career as he was scared to go into any challenges.

Halliday is a miss but will he be up to speed for the semi final.?They have gone hugely backwards bar getting Gordon and Halliday in. If it wasn’t hertz I’d be very confident of beating them. If Gogic and Newell are fit and are Doidge and Nisbet I can’t see us losing. Big if though and of course covid could well play a part. One game at a time. Much better than Thursday night. A few really good performances tonight - I thought Declan Gallagher at the back was outstanding, as were McGinn, Dykes and Fraser. Thought both McGregor and McBurnie looked good when they came on too. Both played well and broke down Slovakia in the final 10 minutes.

Just catching up on this thread now, possibly went with Considine to remove the pressure from Porteous in a high stakes game. If Considine had a mare it's not like he had a long international career ahead of him whereas it could have been damaging for Porteous. I'm possibly giving Clarke too much credit.

Craig Levein on Radio Scotland full of praise for SJM, and saying he should be captain if Andy Robertson misses the next game. Tbh, he's talked a lot of sense and is obviously delighted. It's been a good night! Without going over the score, there was plenty inventive football on show, especially in the second half, which we've not seen from a Scotland team in a very long time.
