4-0 Chelsea - Pulisic (he really adds something extra to this Chelsea side that's been lacking in recent weeks).

If someone could smash a ball in the direction of the young child near a microphone who's been imitating a strangled seagull for the past 10 minutes, that would be splendid.

That Man U goal would have taken 5 mins with the ruler and been disallowed in the EPL.

Think this is the right way to do it.

That's 3 goals Morata has had chalked off for offside - all correctly, but that was tight!

Lincoln are doing well under Michael Appleton, top of league one with 22 points from 9 games.

He has come across very will the few times I have heard him talk. Took a gamble on reducing the average age of Lincolns team from 33 to 25, paying dividends now

Some of the young talent emerging in this Barcelona side is ridiculous.

Pedri and Fati both look absolutely sensational (though Fati isn't playing tonight).

Edit: Fati's now replaced Dembele.

United were decent especially after they brought on Fernandez and Rashford at 1-0 who were both hungry and up for it

Genuine competition for places seems to be key

Rashford even handed the ball to Martial to take a penalty to lift his confidence when he was sitting on a possible hat-trick which I thought was an unselfish act for the team and I was glad that he managed to score a hat-trick

A draw here is actually a very good result to be fair, just a bit of a collapse.

If we can do our bit on Saturday then it’s win win regardless from the other semi for us. Celtic win and I’d suspect Lennon would be in charge of the final. They lose, we have a great tie in the final.

No, we lost to a lower league ***** side in a semi final once again. We lost to hearts, an inferior side, once again. We didn’t play our game and treated them as if it was Celtic or Rangers, giving them far too much respect instead of the side that struggled to beat Arbroath.

That's how damaging that result was. I'm the same. Scunnered with it. We should be taking advantage of Hearts predicament right now not galvanising them. It’s 99% more than career ambitions of the majority of our managers.

I'm talking specifically about Mcinnes though, not sure what Hibs managers have to do with it. He's had the opportunity to challenge himself by taking other jobs and is happy to settle for a cushy number in the North East where finishing 3rd and zero silverware in ages is deemed a success. The love in for him in the press is embarrasing.

Arsenal deserved a win and probably a more comfortable one, though I did think the Man U line-up was pretty strong.

Kieran Tierney really looks a player. Arsenal have got themselves a bargain with him.

Thomas Partey was the stand-out for me though. As he settles into this side he is going to be a dominant force in midfield. Superb acquisition.

Many footballers are thick.
Otamendi is obviouly one of them. He should have let Kent go but no he wipes him out.
Kent could easily have missed the chance and worst case scenario it would have been 1-1.

I follow Benfica's fortunes from a far and the current side is in transition. Last season they went into lockdown top of the league, on resumption they won only 5 or their remaining 10 games and handed Porto the title. They have brought a few new faces in and started the season reasonably well (good results but performances haven't always been that great) and took a tanking at Boavista earlier this week (3-0), Very much a bit of fair weather side. Tonight they started brightly, got a man sent off then heads go down, look a bit clueless and basically surrender. Very much a team with a soft underbelly. Given they had a man sent off early doors Im personally not surprised at all at the present score. seen it all before (from a Benfica perspective)

Dont want to take anything away from Rangers, they are playing very well and are a good side. Much better than Celtic at present IMO but there is a context to tonights game.

You get 2 coefficient points for a win and that gets divided by the 4 (teams Scotland had in Europe this season) so a win is worth 0.5 of a coefficient point so if both Scottish teams win today we get 1 coefficient point.
Before tonight Austria were 2.5 coefficient points ahead of Scotland and still have 4 teams in Europe so it will be difficult to real them in this season.
