Yep same old same old. Not to say the quality of some of the games isn't excellent however the structured development of an elite set of clubs is counter productive to the overall health of the game.

Yep no way on this earth McLean didn't see it or the 4th official didn't see it. Petrified of giving decisions against certain teams. Personally think refs work on the basis of looking for reasons to give decisions for certain favoured teams and then look for reasons not to give decisions for unflavoured teams.
