Play the same crap midfield and defence that did bugger all for them and guess what, still pish. Shaw, Dalot, Maguire, McTomminay and Fred are just bang average players who should be nowhere near a team of the standing of United, the gap between defence and midfield is brutal and there's very little urgency in the way they're playing. Van de Beek has had a good pre season yet he still can't get a start?
didn't watch todays game but i've already given him a tag of hopeless and McGuire much of the same

None of the other teams in the SPL outside of the Old Firm look any great shakes. Dundee Utd under Ross will win some, lose some and DRAW LOTS of games, stick on for 6th. Motherwell and OK but hardly to be feared and are due a poor season.. Hearts were marginally better than us ...maybe..but not really today and we have a brand new team with players who are still getting to know each other. Ross County and St Mirren will have good games and bad games but not much consistenty and while Kilmarnock and St Johnstone look pretty pish. Killi will get better and will grind out results to come 6th or 7th under McInnes, but without the money to spend he got at Aberdeen I doubt he'll do much better. That leaves Aberdeen and Us. I deffo think the 3/4/5 places will be between ourselves, hearts and Aberdeen.

Just watching motd from last night and a bit mad Forest still without a shirt sponsor.
Just looked up on Google and they have been in talks but no deal yet with anyone.
Forest chairman Evangelos Marinakis is holding for a £10m-a-season deal and was willing to start the campaign without a sponsor if his demands were not met.
I'm not a finance guy so not sure if that is a reasonable request from the chairman.

Club in Sierra Leone being investigated for 91-1 win could be promoted - BBC Sport (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/62484237)
A second-tier football club in Sierra Leone will be allowed to play in promotion play-offs despite still being under investigation for alleged match manipulation in a game which finished 91-1.
Gulf FC qualified for the Super 10 phase of the league after they defeated Koquima Lebanon 3-0 while closest challengers Kahunla Rangers lost 1-0 to Lumbebu United in replayed matches on Sunday.
The meetings between the respective clubs last month drew global headlines after Kono-based Gulf beat city rivals Koquima by a margin of 90 goals (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/62049926) and Rangers, from Kenama, thrashed Lumbebu United 95-0.
it was a cert a Rangers would be involved though
