His skills are well suited to a no nonsense centre back in the middle of a back 3. Mcgregors best stuff for Hibs was in the same role. In a 2, where Gogic had to pass more and get pulled wide, he'd toil more.

It was always very unlikely. If both teams win all games, then Arsenal will have gotten more points than City since January first. Arsenal lost it with those 2 defeats between Christmas and new year.

This would be fantastic if it was adopted across the board. So simple and would bring it into line with cricket and rugby where their VAR equivalents are open and transparent and the crowd is fully engaged.

Not sure if there are any countries doing what Portugal is but the refs here appear to be a protected species and have never spoken publicly before. I can’t see the authorities here rushing to change that sadly.

Looking at the last few games where they conceded five or six, theyve only allowing somewhere between 6-10 shots on goal, so he's saving less than half. They have been conceding a few pens which skews the stats a bit, but you'd like him to be making a few more saves than he is.
