If that Rangers game is in the league they freeze and draw the lines so the attackers knee is a fraction over the halfway line.
There were multiple times they went down expecting a free kick, didn’t get it, and you could hear the complete disbelief of the crowd. They’re so used to getting anything that when they don’t, they don’t know what to do. Never mind, normal service will be resumed on Sunday lads.

Aye they done that falling over expecting free kicks against us, seems to be something Clements has brought in, remember his team in France did that alot

The proper words to Follow Follow are harmless, but in the voices of the excrement who sing the "Dundee-Hamilton " version , it's brain dead sectarianism, and reflective of the supporters.

Delighted for Villa. Really enjoyed our away leg down there - a proper football club and a cracking stadium.
Just shows you our results were far from the disgrace the BBC painted them out to be. We were just unfortunately first in a long line of teams (now including Ajax) who have been scudded by them this season. They are class and led my none other than our SJM.

Agreed. Looking at it subjectively they played Ajax at full pelt knowing the tie was very much in play and they had to play well to progress after drawing in Amsterdam.
Their home game against us they were basically in 2nd gear as the tie was completely finished in the first 45 minutes at ER.

Very pleasing, normally wouldnt bother my arse to much about the stickies but after their song book shenanigence at the weekend, GIRUY.
In fact, this will make them doubly determined to beat the shxte across the road in the cup as they are now out.
Even more pleasing.
Agreed. Couldn't care less about their European games but if getting knocked out sharpens their focus on beating the yams then it's all good.

On one hand, I'd like Raith and United to replace Livi and Ross as it would mean two much larger travelling supports.
On the other hand, I'd really like Aberdeen to go down although that would take away a big travelling support.
On another hand, Raith's pitch is a no-no for me so I wouldn't miss that.
On another hand, I enjoy a trip up to Dingwall.
So, when I balance it all out, I hope Hearts go down.
But then there's that travelling support thing.
No easy, this.

Apart from Sterling I hardly know any players on the park. The Chelsea keeper who I thought was their 1st choice but apparently isn't and that's about it. There is probably a couple of others but the guy captaining Chelsea apparently has about 15 England caps and I wouldn't know him if he knocked on my front door.
I'm so out the loop with English football. This has been a pretty decent game, as was Wolves v Coventry yesterday; it's a pity the FA Cup has become so devalued as you can see what it means to teams like the latter whilst a lot of EPL teams seem to value finishing 14th in the league over a trophy, and sadly understandably so.

It's a strange one, nobody would deny that the FA Cup is hugely devalued these days... you'd think this might lead to more smaller teams winning it while the bigger ones prioritise other things. Yet that hasn't happened. The winners of the FA Cup in recent years seems to be ever more concentrated among the big clubs. I suppose that also illustrates the gulf now.

If it's outside the box it's only a free kick but that will be upgraded to a red. A scored penalty but only a yellow is probably a better outcome.

I thought it was because Mudryk was playing well but I didn't hear the cheers when Sterling went off.

Maybe a mixture, think chelsea fans can see Mudryk is at least trying, might no be showing in goals/assists but never hides.

Summed up in the studio, Man U get players back to defend but are too passive and seldom attack the player on the ball, hence so much time to score, they really miss Martinez at the back, also Shaw.

Liverpool have been very passive at times in the 2nd half, almost a bit too much arrogance that they can knock the ball about all day and United won't do anything about it.

I’m not saying it’s a good rule but it’s a rule and has consequences that can affect the future fate of a club. Imagine your star striker being suspended in the cup final because he stupidly took his top off or dived into the crowd. Remove the rule and it’s carte blanche to faff around willy nilly if you score a goal. It’s a case of head over heart whether you like it or not.

You’re missing the whole point. A goal celebration is all about spontaneous celebrations, it’s what makes the game so great.
That’s no longer the case when we have to wait on a decision for almost every goal.
A crowd surge can happen whether a player takes his top off or not. Although I don’t really see how it can be all that dangerous considering there’s seats to stop that from happening!
I really can’t agree with any of your points tbh. It sounds like you’re being deliberately argumentative. There’s no doubt that football is in a worse state now regards rule changes than it once was.

The only thing that could be argued is that in theory, VAR sounds great. But The way it’s being implemented is atrocious and that is causing delays, inconsistencies, goals being chopped off/red cards being given when no one else sees anything wrong with the original call. Until that is ironed out, if it ever is, then it’s not working.
You only need to look at the decisions and time it’s taking to reach the decisions as evidence.

I actually really like VAR when it's ruining other teams games, it's quite funny, adds to the theatre, but not so much when we're getting robbed. Then it's not funny at all. Var is a bit like Graeme Shinnie, fine if it's working for you, can't stand it when it's against you.
Next season there has to be more consistency, especially around hand ball. It's been the one thing that's caused way too many problems this year.

VAR is ruining the game. To say otherwise you either enjoy waiting about for a goal to be decided by someone watching elsewhere, taking away the 'in the moment' feeling of celebrating a goal. Or you know it's been bad for the game and just want to go against popular opinion for the sake of it.
If there was any sense in Football, they'd realise it's made the game so much worse and get rid.

Or you were adamant it was going to be so good for the game/made such a fuss about football NEEDING it, that you're not going to budge now that it's been proved to be absolutely *****.
It's here to stay unfortunately - too big an investment and fuss made for them to go back now. Stuck with it and all the pish that goes with it.
Ever meet anyone who didn't think VAR was a good idea for football but now thinks it's great..?

I was looking at a few clubs forums and see Nottingham forest have been deducted 4 points for breaching FFP , that now puts them in the relegation places .Luton might escape the drop yet .
And Man City continue on their merry way. The EPL is a disgrace in that respect.

All gone fairly quiet on their 115 misdemeanors right enough.

Either the EPL lawyers are making a watertight case, or they're bottling it. I know where my money is. You're talking titles stripped from them, huge points deduction and potential demotion. Yeah right.
The speed at which Nottingham Forest have been done is remarkable. Mind you, they don't have a country behind them fighting their case.

Man City are fighting the case with the best lawyers they can buy.
Other clubs are co-operating so those cases are being handled quicker.
Nothing crazy about it. The premier league have no choice but to punish City big time. It will happen.

It’s absolutely shocking. Everton and Forest easy targets. City 115 charges and still the square root of heehaw done. I mean, even our biased and rotten league managed to deal with The Thes financial cheatin…and that’s saying something

Completely disagree, the EPL are having to cross every T and dot every I because they will be up against some of best lawyers in the world. The case is massive and they can't afford to be made to look like fools in court. If Man City are even found guilty for a third of the offenses they are f****d.

It's nothing to do with bias. City are fighting it. Forrest and Everton didn't.
