I’m not sure what the permutations are, or even the accuracy of the groups I saw, but pot 3 certainly appeared to have more teams to avoid than pot 2 imo.

This is a very mediocre looking team performance wise (Scotland). I know injuries are playing a part but yet another game where we look disconnected and desperate at times.

The same frailties against decent clubs recently has seen us drubbed repeatedly, and we look a little clueless at times here so far.

Clarke has improved the squad, I don't think anyone can argue with that - but we still look a little tactically naive at times.

I wouldn't necessarily say any of them NEVER turned up for Scotland. But certainly not with the same consistency they turned up for their domestic teams.

Of course, different systems, different manager styles etc, not the same teammates. Perhaps I am being harsh, but McGregor should be the heartbeat of this team - instead, he opts for wee one-twos and backward passes more often than he takes us forward. He's frustrating.
