They rested their entire starting XI on the weekend and will probably do the same ahead of the semi final whilst Liverpool will still be challenging for the title. Liverpool should win but if Villarreal can get at least a draw in the first leg at Anfield they could pull off another upset.

From what I've read I understand they'll still qualify automatically even if Villarreal win the Champions League as long as Russian clubs aren't reinstated.

No idea if that's true or not.
