There's only so much you can do with that open expansive style unless you have world class players, great to watch but you have to keep it tight at times, not a great deal added this summer also.
My 3 for the drop are Norwich, Wolves and Burnley.

Yes don't think Leeds have signed many. Got loads of Leeds mates and they seem worried already.

Burnley's another that's not really signed enough especially quality, their 442 is old hat nowadays and they're really struggling, they finished last season in 17th 11 points above 18th, they seem to scrape enough points but maybe not this year.

Can see Newcastle getting into trouble down there, they just don't have the quality and years of Mike Ashley cheap and cheerful will catch up with them

And was head and shoulders above all Man U midfielders yesterday, why Man U or someone similar never bought him in the summer is a mystery.

I’m not an expert on what Mike Ashley is doing at Newcastle, but every time it gets brought up as the reason for them being so **** I don’t understand it.
Newcastle do buy players. There’s only been 2 seasons in the last 10 years they’ve brought in more from sales than they’ve spent.
Last few years the problem has been consistently signing the wrong players, not lack of investment, from what I can see.
Plenty other teams get by with a similar budget to Newcastle without everything being blamed on the owner..

Why have they still got a member of staff for each team using the subs board rather than the 4th official? I noticed the 4th official uses it in England but not up here.
Also some of the covid measures still in place are questionable. We could pack out Easter Road with 20k today but the Hibs staff who are with each other every day still need to sit 3 seats apart?
Only just catching up with this game, jeez Aberdeen are a poor side, St Mirren are no mugs and will work hard but Aberdeen are looking bottom 6 at the moment.

The problem Stephen Glass has is that he's trying to get Aberdeen to play in the style that they should do, but for years before him they've been the complete antithesis of that. You can't change that overnight and he's trying to do too much, too quickly.

I don't think it's a true rivalry through geography - it has one that has developed since the 70s, after various incidents and years when they were both gunning for the same promotions etc.

Although they win the French league most season PSG for all their world class players are only really decent at this level, they show glimpses but the fact they're still striving to win the Champions league after the last few years with all their money says it all, could say the same about City at times.

I still don't see why a team with a sectarian problem would be favoured in a game against a team with a racism problem though. I'd not want either side to win but I suppose it's each to their own.
