He’s hardly played.

When he has got on the pitch, he’s got chances and that’s one of the hardest things to do. Best strikers in the world miss chances but they keep going back for more, he’s not had that chance as he’s hardly played.

I get why he’s not getting much game time as he’s very very raw but you only have to look at Doidge to see how hard it is to get chances at this level.

He’s actually a cracking player to take a fly punt on - if you’ve got 2 or 3 players ahead of him in the queue.

He can train, play development games, maybe play a part in cup ties against lower league teams if the tie is won, make the odd cameo and if a few rough edges wear off then you might hang onto him.

It’s beyond comprehension that he’s as close to being a starter as he is at this stage though.
