Dundee will probs go down.
As much as like Murray and admire him as a player, he made a big mistake going to them. Should be at Hibs and pushing for 3rd, instead he is going to head back to the championship.
They very likely will go down. They are rotten.
The two Dundee teams have been swapping places in the league for years. Seems impossible for them both to stay up.

We were always going to level out though eventually even if it wasn't as good as we have been it is still better than going to Dundee any other time in my opinion, far to up and down Dundee as a club these days. Baffles me why they want to build a new stadium when they don't get close to filling the current one.

2-1 v Aberdeen
1-5 v Hearts
4-3 v Falkirk
0-3 v Celtic
1-2 v Ross County
0-0 v Dundee Utd (won on pens)
3-2 v Rangers
2-3 v Aberdeen
2-4 v Celtic
2-5 v Celtic
1-2 v Celtic

0-1 v Aberdeen
Won 4, drawn 1, lost 10.

Bit of a nightmare scenario really---that's why I said earlier tomorrow is a bit of a win-win.
Still, if we finish 3rd, we enter the Conf League at the 3rd Qualifying Round, where Killie got Tromso,, and StM got SK Brann
If we were seeded for the Play-offs, there's some winnable ties. There was a Lincoln Red Imps v Larne tie there this season
We've done pretty well the last few times in Europe against teams we should beat, and teams that were slightly better than us(Tripolis & Lucerne)
If we can beat Celtic, I'd favour us in 50% of the draws we might get, but it's a bit of a lottery mind

article from November 2024
Seven lower league SPFL clubs spearheaded by Falkirk are challenging a ban on artificial surfaces in the William Hill Premiership.
Top-flight sides voted at the end of the season to implement a ban in the Premiership (https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/topic/premiership) from the 2026-27 campaign after the governing body put forward a resolution to “phase out” artificial pitches.
Representatives from Falkirk (https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/topic/falkirk), Livingston, Raith Rovers, Hamilton, Airdrieonians, Cove Rangers and Queen of the South have now held talks with Scottish FA (https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/topic/scottish-fa) president Mike Mulraney and are prepared to ask an independent arbitration tribunal to review the ban under Article 99 of the Scottish FA’s articles of association.

Make wins on artificial pitches only count as two points to the home team. That'll put an end to this nonsense.

what I find bizarre is that all artificial pitches are just classed as equal. A top of the range artificial one is better that the terrible ones at StJ and County.
But the Killie and Livi ones aren’t. There needs to be an official grading at the start of the season for each artificial pitch to see if it passes a standard.

Without a doubt. Most would agree he hasn’t been at his best since going to Aberdeen, but he’s still got 14 goal involvements (10 goals 4 assists) in 28 games.
Shankenstein has 13 in 34 games with 9 of those being assists.

Think so. If he was our player I'd be wanting at least that for him, so can see where Motherwell are coming from, they just won't get much more than £5mil I reckon. Just where Scottish football is really.
18 with over 60 games under his belt, 14 goal involvements, can play anywhere in the middle of the pitch and captained Motherwell. Chat of him being thought about for the main Scotland squad last time as well.

I don't share that confidence.
If Hibs are sitting are third at the end of the season then Aberdeen have 1 shot at redemption for blowing their incredible start or Hearts have the chance to be massive s***houses.

Likewise.
Only bad draw would have been Aberdeen vs Celtic and Hearts vs St Johnstone,
Aberdeen is a tough game that could really go either way. Celtic should beat St Johnstone no problem and have the luxury of cruising out the rest of the league campaign, focusing solely on winning the cup.

I actually think if Liverpool hadn't snatched that late (undeserved) winner in Paris last week and it had finished 0-0, which would still have been a great result for them considering how they played, they would have found a way to win tonight.

It would be. There's no intent to hit the ball off your other foot, it's already putting the taker at a disadvantage. If the keeper comes off his line before the ball is kicked it's a retake, why should this be any different? Seems very harsh and some saying it isn't conclusive enough he even did that.

Absolutely pathetic. Of course the most successful league should reap the most rewards in terms of European places but that number needs capped a lot lower than this.
7 Champions league places (a fair factors required to make it happen), and you would end up with teams finishing about 12th getting conference league football. Boring as hell.
