He’s surely finished.

Constant ankle injuries have wrecked his career... plus a bit of a reputation as a party boy.

I know this is a joke but it's a fair point - there will be plenty of out of contract players kicking about

I can see Palace, Newcastle or a Burnley taking him on a 2 year deal or so.

🆕 The signing of Kyle Magennis completes our business for the window.

✅ Alex Gogic
✅ Dillon Barnes
✅ Drey Wright
✅ Jamie Murphy
✅ Kevin Nisbet
✅ Kyle Magennis
✅ Stephen McGinn

📝 A new deal for Martin Boyle.

📈 A leaner squad hungry to make this a season to remember.

Very, very decent.

Well done everyone at the club.

His performances last time round at us would suggest differently.

He did have a good first spell here but that’s a while ago now and he’s done nothing since.

Even then, his first spell, he had a barren run and I'm sure scored quite a few penalties to pad the stats.

No he didn’t, not convinced he was fully fit second spell. I saw enough in his first spell to impress me though.

Surprised Shankland is still at Utd. Thought McNulty going there would mean he was away.

If they can get McNulty playing that is as good a front line as any outside the old firm. Getting McNulty playing might be the issue though.

Played a big part in steering us quickly away from trouble in Hecky's early good run but he was a player I found a bit hard to warm to.

any idea how much we've spent over this summer on players? BBC reporting all signings as 'undisclosed'

I’d be surprised if it’s much more than what we’ve taken in, but it’s great that we’ve reinvested transfer fees and wages saved into bringing new players in. It would have been easy to say we are bringing in less income due to the pandemic and used the money brought in to offset these losses.

Another one of those bang average but overhyped as world class English players.

Reminds me of Ross Chisholm for some reason...?! Maybe he points a lot?

Are we expecting McGregor to play 3 games in 8 days? Hasn't played for ages, chances of him getting a knock/strain are strong. Can see us picking up an unattached CB, deal to January, bound to be a few available.

Wilshere was a real talent, clear to anyone really. Injuries absolutely ruined him but his ability was never in question. Unreal game against Peps Barcelona aged 19.

Wilshere looked different class when he first came on the scene. I used to work with an Arsenal season ticket holder he was telling me Wilshere had a similar "injury" as Gary O'connor had at one point!

I think the season ticket holder used to frequent greggs or was it the fishmongers!!

Yup. Wilshere was an outstanding player. Injuries have just ****ed his career. He’s technically outstanding though and would have been playing for one of the best teams in the world had he not had injury problems imo.

Also a winger from Ipswich think his name is Jordan Roberts. Also Popescu a centre half who used to play for St Mirren couple of years back. Craig Gordon.

Jack put a statement out yesterday saying he has been fit for 8 months and club choose not to play him. How much truth there is in that who knows.

I did say 'as good as' and don't think it's far off ours.

I think Nisbet is the best of the bunch for sure. But there isn't much between Doidge and Shankland. And if they can get McNulty playing then there's definitely a player in there.

But, as I said it's getting McNulty playing that's the challenge.

He isn’t able to play three games a week because of how he is managed in training to do with previous injuries

McNulty is excellent when he’s fit and focussed.

He’s getting to the point where he’s got something to prove again after coasting at Reading, picking up big wages and going out on loan.

If United have him in good shape and he fancies it then he’s a cracking player.

If he’s still pissing about then he’s a waste of a significant wage contribution.

McNulty was unprofessionally unfit last time and his stamp showed a part of him I didn't like. I'm glad Grrg Stewart was just gossip, decent player but very overrated and very inconsistent, didn't realise he was 30.

Quality? You are easy pleased. He looked good against bsc glasgow and bottom 6 teams but was like the invisible man against any decent side.
