Hate that call. Still a great game but hate to see that.
I didn’t really get the sky sports co-commentator’s gripe (not sure what ex player it was).. his main argument seemed to be that it was late in the game and close and he didn’t want a penalty sealing their fate. Mike Pereira seemed pretty sure it was the right call, and he’s never wrong 😁
It’s a bit like the old ‘it’s early in the game’ or ‘you don’t want to see someone get a second yellow for that’ arguments in football. Rules are rules and should apply the same throughout for me.

That 2nd half was crazy. Considering how good the Eagles D line has been they were completely ineffective against Mahomes. Never got close to him. A lot to be said about that questionable holding call.

It was outrageous. So so marginal and at THAT moment to throw a flag on Bradberry there was terrible, ended the game. I think the Chiefs deserved the win for that second half performance but without the flag the eagles get a chance to drive back down the field with 1.49 left, plenty of time for the Eagles to win it.

Almost all the comment ive heard or read post game is that it was a bad call. The problem is the whole defensive PI rules have become so stacked against the defence that its impossible to cover a receiver without some contact. You are allowed some contact, but youre not allowed a grab. That wasnt a grab and it doesnt change the momentum of the receiver anyway. Those kinds of things happen on most routes and are never called. I would love it if they went back to the 'you're allowed two jams on the guy and then leave him alone' rule for pass coverage.

I think Bradberry has now said it was the right call. It was marginal from my point of view but I'm no expert.
Still I think that was probably my favourite ever Superbowl last night - whoever had won would have deserved it.

Well i disagree with him, maybe hes trying to be classy:greengrin I agree the game was absolutely spectacular, it had everything. Mahomes and Hurts were both as good as each other, some of the passes were miraculous. Hurts had 15 runs for 70 yards, TEN of those runs were for first downs. That's incredible, you never hear of QBs doing that.

Some big trades…Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins Patrick Peterson to the Steelers, and two of the QB scenarios get resolved, Garrapolo goes to the Raiders to fill Derek Carrs spot, who cost the Saints a surprisingly high amount of cap.
The Bears have the biggest cap space, now have a few proven veterans and some extra picks thanks to trading away the #1 pick, and will be going shopping.

Happy with the Ramsey trade as it means we can release Byron Jones and replace him with better for relatively little cap hit.
Albeit with Hunter Long going the other way and Mike Gesicki both not fitting the current system and set to hit free agency we are a bit short at TE with not a lot to work with to rectify that.

Jalen Ramsey has apparently regressed last season but at his best he’s a genuine shutdown corner, he was a big problem for Seattle in division games and a big reason we had such a terrible record against the Rams.

It’s two second round picks from GBP to NYJ, net. For a 39 year old QB who was one of the best of all time but who was refusing to play for his actual team anymore, it’s probably a good deal for both parties. The NFC East is now absolutely stacked with talent.

It's easy to understand why the Packers were ready to move on. Love has sat on the bench for most of his first three seasons and has a fifth-year option decision (https://www.espn.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/52990/why-the-transition-to-jordan-love-whenever-it-happens-will-require-patience-for-packers) coming due this spring. Rodgers is owed a $58.3 million bonus before the 2023 season and a whopping $108.7 million over the next two years. After he came out of his darkness retreat (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35717301/aaron-rodgers-leaves-oregon-facility-ends-darkness-retreat) and announced he wanted to play for the Jets (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35865345/aaron-rodgers-says-wants-play-jets-2023) in 2023, the writing was on the wall regarding his relationship with Green Bay.

He'll improve the Jets, no doubt. They're dreadful.
The ownership need to back it up by giving Rodgers some weapons to use though.
His acquisition definitely makes the AFC East an interesting place this year. Still can't see by the Bills winning the division, but could we see the Patriots finishing bottom of the division this year? It wouldn't surprise me - our off-season business so far really hasn't convinced me.
I'm set to be out in San Fran for the first few weeks of the new season, so also keeping an eye on the 49ers this off-season to see what I can expect. A full ST for Stanford, but I might look at getting to a few games in Santa Clara too!

The main thing to get your head around with the draft is how they are used for trades. If team A wants a proven veteran to fill a crucial position from another team they normally have to give up one or more draft pick the following season(s). Team B will then take the place of team A in the draft order for that Aprils draft. The seriously top college players are all chosen in rounds 1 and 2 of the draft, so for the Jets to give up two second rounders in exchange for Rodger’s surprised a lot of people ; not because he’s not great, but because of his age, and because he’s coming off a relatively bad season by his high standards.
If a team is really desperate for one of the leagues top players they will sometimes give up as much as two or three first round picks and or trade away other starting players. That doesn’t happen often. Some franchises like to build through trading away all their top draft picks for trades for proven veterans (LA Rams last few years a good example), and other teams do the opposite when they’re rebuilding. The Panthers have decided to trade into the overall #1 pick this year because they need a QB and they want the best young player coming out of college. This will probably be CJ Stroud or Bryce Young, but they could spring a surprise and go for Anthony Richardson instead. Also watch for the large number of players coming from the biggest colleges; Alabama, LSU, Florida, Ohio State, a few others, because they have pro type programs and where the top high school players are attracted to in the first place.
Most of the big decisions will be made in the middle of the night Friday am our time.

Lamar Jackson resigns with the Ravens, 5 year, $260million contract (that’s a quarter of a billion our money!) to make him the newest highest paid player ever (until the next tranche of big name QBs reach the end of their contracts and tue record gets broken again).

That’s a good take, hadn’t realised that. The Tide can produce Forrest Gump and QBs :greengrin
I don’t follow college football very closely at all but in terms of players grading it looks like the Texans did well with their last minute trading to get the top edge rusher AND one of the top two QBs, The Eagles got the top DT at #9 I saw projected at #5 AND an edge rusher at the end of the round and the Seahawks will be pleased to have nabbed the top receiver at #20 as well as the top defensive back at #5. Falcons and Lions both go for exciting young running backs early, Robinson and Gibbs, whose careers will be worth watching.
The big question day 2 is which team gets the last remaining star QB of this class, Levis out of Kentucky, highly rated but will probably be warming the bench behind a veteran now, whoever picks him.

I was going nuts watching the Dolphins game. 1st and goal with the 2 minute warning been and gone and we called 3 pass plays, got the score on 3rd down then missed the extra point to give the Chargers 90 seconds to get into field goal range with 2 time outs. Thankfully Fangio earned his money with a brave call on 4th and 13, a full blitz after barely calling a blitz all day and we got the stop.
I thought Tua looked very, very good. A couple of bad decisions, one of which was punished, but his release was super quick, he was accurate and he kept himself safe in and out of the pocket. If he can stay healthy then we will score a lot of points with the firepower we have on offence. Tyreek has said he wants a 2000 yard season and that wasn't a bad start last night.

The WRs are looking sharp and the defence looks solid enough . Love looks ready for the NFL, I just wish they would stop the Rodgers comparison, I know it's going to happen but it's boring already.

Odd - is there any kind of rivalry there? I know Cowboys fans are pretty abrasive at times and rub a lot of fanbases up the wrong way, but never heard of widespread violence.
Definitely doubt it would be Jets fans instigating it - as much as we're big rivals, I've always found it pretty amicable (at a personal level anyway) and never encountered any real nastiness.
Struggling to get excited for the season - certainly the NCAA season - Stanford and UC Berkeley joining the ACC has utterly drained my interest. Money before athlete interest (both academically and sportingly). I've got a few of the football team in my classes and they're already worried about flying back and forth across the country and the impact it'll have on them.

Signs of the defence showing what they’ve been well-known for in recent years, while there’s room for improvement.
Players to return and a great start (2 road games out the way with Ws). It will be a different test against the Bills but an exciting season ahead and I’m in no doubt we can mix it with anyone.

The big difference from last year is having something on the ground. Last year it was always going to be across the middle or looking for the deep ball. Yesterday we only called 26 pass plays. It kept the Broncos guessing and they couldn't utilise their blitz which they love to do.
Flores never wanted Tua and made no attempt to build a system that fitted with him. McDaniel has built a play book that plays to his strengths, quick release and accuracy. He's never going to be a gunslinger and he'll always be fragile but he's showing signs of being a top 5 QB this season.
Bigger test on Sunday but it's set up to be a great game. I started following the Dolphins in 1998 so missed the vast majority of the Marino era, barring a season with Chad Pennington under centre this is the first time there has been any real feeling that we are on the right track, I'm going to enjoy the ride.

only watched this Giants/Jets game because it was a derby but my goodness it has been absolutely awful, constant rain hasn't helped though, 15 punts in the 1st half alone and with just 3 mins remaining 22 overall, most in the NFL for over 20 years, Jets have given away 85 yards in penalties with a couple of them you just wouldn't believe they were pro's
two min warning and it's 10-7 Giants
if jets coach had hair he would have torn the lot out by the end of this game
zach wilson sacked yet again
NY's Gano misses his 2nd FG of the game with 23 secs remaining
1 second remaining jets tie it with a 35 yard FG
overtime coming up

Most teams have a 'throwback' kit they wear a couple of times a season. Dolphins were in ours today as well with the old (proper) logo.
I loved the Steelers effort but they were almost universally slated:

Wanted to watch this but was way to late to stay up.
Watched the highlights yesterday (side note how good are the NFL highlights on YouTube, Scottish football should take note!) and it was some game, lucky to walk away with the win, Chiefs looked very good getting to Hurts and unlucky (lucky for us) with a couple of drops, they should have been out of sight. Swift looked very good running and just shows the options we have i don't think AJ got much of a look in with most going to Smith.

Eagles’ ability to find wins in big games where they don’t play anywhere near their best (vs Cowboys and Chiefs) looks really ominous for the rest imo.
They’ll be a huge danger - as long as Hurts’ knee holds up.
Chiefs haven’t convinced me at all so far. Obviously Mahomes is top notch but he could really do with having some better receivers. There’s really not much there for him when Kelce is either dealt with defensively or not quite on his game.
I stayed up and watched the game, wasn’t a flowing classic but was still absolutely riveting viewing, a fairly attritional game. NFL is quite weird in that I think I prefer watching the slogs to the high scoring games.

after watching Hurts sacked five times in the first half alone then sacked again with the first drive of the Q3 i started watching something else as i just knew it wasn't meant to be, until i switched back for the 4thQ and was rather shocked to see Philly leading :greengrin Mahomes had a brilliant throw right at the end and the dude caught the ball in the end zone but it just slipped away from his grasp, blame a wet ball for that one i think.

Thought the officials called one or two wrong for each side throughout, but didn’t think we were undeserved winners in the end. To be fair, the fettle Sanders was in last night, I think fins were going ahead as soon as they got to the half way line 😁

There are currently 8 managerial vacancies in the NFL, including New England, who part ways with Coach Belichick after 24 years in charge. I'm definitely sad, but I remember a time before him and TB, and I definitely feel it's the right time to clear the decks after an abysmal season.

Has anyone watched the sky sports highlights next morning rather than live game? Are they fairly comprehensive?
Bit of a dilemma for the fins game. I usually always insist on watching my teams live but swaying towards recording, avoiding the score and watching early morning with ability to skip all breaks.
I’m out on Sunday and could do without being knackered and useless like I usually am after sitting up watching NFL. Just wondering if highlights may be an option.
I think recording and being in control is probably best… just as long as I make sure I view from the start and don’t spoil the whole thing!!

I was pretty close to tears myself watching Pete Carrolls emotional final press conference for the Seahawks. Just an alltime great coach and genuine good guy and finally brought the big prize back to a constantly failing franchise.

Because the division winners get a premium. Houston won their division, whereas Cleveland had to make do with the lower seed because they finished behind Baltimore in a far tougher division.
Obviously Houston were spectacular last night but i thought the standard this season has been relatively poor and theres a fair few playoff teams that wouldnt have made it in previous seasons. Some teams cant really be blamed because of a slew of injuries (Browns and Dolphins particularly) but theres a few ropey outfits since they expanded the playoffs, some shocking missed tackles on defence and complete breakdowns on offense. The Ravens Cowboys and 49ers have been the most consistent performers, but lots of teams have been streaky and unpredictable.

Miami have had ridiculous issues with injuries for years now. Every week for the last few seasons our injury report has been about twice the length of our opponents week on week. It's something that I'm certain will be looked at when the season is reviewed.
It's really cost us this year. I think we ended up using 12 different combination on the offensive line in 18 games. Liam Eichenberg who is a pretty poor left tackle has played centre for the last few games and he's even poorer in that position. Losing Jaelen Phillips, Bradley Chubb and then the criminally underrated Andrew Van Ginkel left us with Melvin Ingram being promoted from the practice squad to take his first snaps of the season in a play off game.
Disappointing end to a season that promised a lot. Work to be done in the off season for sure. A few big contracts to be tied up. We need a big bruising running back to be added and a proper old school tight end. When good defenses take away our speed there isn't a clear plan B and C. 2 strong additions in those positions would help. We also need to move on from Xavien Howard at cornerback. He was elite bit he's perennially injured and those injuries have caught up with him. He's on elite money and he's just not elite anymore. Finally I think Tua has earned his fifth year option but beyond that there may still be question marks. If the right QB was available in a years time then we might look to deal.

I think you have one of the best coaches around, possibly the most explosive receiver in history and a quality WR2 too, a strong zone running game and a very good D especially the dline, if healthy. With all the talent elsewhere i think Tua only needs to be 7/10 for Miami to go deep in the playoffs very soon. He always seems to take 3-5 steps, quick release and a guys always open because of the scheming McDaniels has employed .
But you cant establish anything with those zone schemes without a powerful line on both sides of the ball and the injuries have ****ed you there.

It was amazing.
The first half was about the Mahomes-Kelce connection. In such a analytic-heavy sport like American football you expect defensive coaches to scheme to stop Kelce, but nobody seems to be able to do it. Annoying annoying player but seems to have some sort of telepathy with his qb. 10 catches in just over a half is ridiculous, hes on to break the playoff record at this point.

As a long suffering Lions fan. This is akin to 2016.
My allegience to the Lions? In the 50s 60s and 70s many family members emigrated to the States all settling in Michigan (most around Flint).
Have very fond memories of sitting on the porch with my great grandfather listening to Tigers baseball games and an affinety with Detroit sport started. When the NFL began to take off in the UK in the 80s there was only going to be one team for me, the Detroit Lions. Been bloody hard ad weve been totally ***** for most of that time since. #Persevere.

big let off for 49ers there with that Detroit drive coming to nothing
followed by another huge break
1st and goal 49ers
TD on 3rd......... 24-17
Lions fumble, 49ers clawing away at that deficit now
1st & goal 49ers
2nd & Goal.... TD
24-24
4th Q
FG 49ers 27-24
7 mins remaining, Detroit don't take the FG and instead gamble on 4th & 3 and it doesn't come off
3:30 remaining
1st & Goal 49ers....TD 33-24. that should win it, 27 unanswered points
56 secs remaining TD Detroit 34-31 exciting last minute
FT 49ers win, great game shame for whoever lost
just the Swifties to beat in Vegas

Surprised there's been no action on here already today. What's everyone doing for the game? What we all eating/drinking? How do we see the game go? Who's gonna win?
I've done my back in so quiet one in the house with a few beers and getting an Indian takeaway delivered. Chiefs will win with Taylor Swift getting more airtime on screen than half three quarters of the players.

Yeah been on the cards for a wee while that one, it’s sad but the park was near enough empty every game. Vegas wanted a baseball team and Oakland clearly don’t have the interest required to maintain one, it is what it is. For example you could never imagine Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies etc moving away from their home city, the local interest is more than high enough to make those franchises highly profitable before a pitch is thrown[emoji2369]

I've seen the 49ers more than any other team because of work (they're just down the road from Stanford these days), and one of the star men is a former Cardinal, so I'm 'loosely' cheering on SF.

49ers clearly the best team first half, hasnt felt like a one score game and Andy Reid and the Chiefs will probably be happy to get in and regroup with the game still anyones. The 49ers defensive front completely dominating the KC Oline is the big reason the games been the way it has. Whether the public criticism from their own coaches was a factor only they can tell i suppose, but interesting psychology if so.

Free agency began last week, i think i enjoy free agency and the draft next month just as much as when the season's underway. Way too many big moves to be able to detail them all. Theres a good argument that the NFL just does it this way to maximise sales of new editions of Madden:greengrin
Big QB moves Kirk Cousins Vikes to Falcons. who send their failed experiment Ridder to the Cards. Russell Wilson Broncos to Steelers. AND Justin Fields Bears to Steelers! (Steelers now have 2 decent starters at QB, send Kenny Pickett to Eagles) Sam Howell Commanders to Seahawks. Sam Darnold moves to fill the hole with the Vikings, probably as a backup to a big name rookie.
Loads of big RB moves Saquan Barkley Giants to Eagles, Derrick Henry Titans to Ravens (who I think did some great business overall) Mixon Bengals to Texans. Ekeler to Commnaders, Josh Jacobs Raiders to Packers, who send Aaron Jones to the Vikings. D'andre Swift moves again, Eagles to Bears.
Everyone seems to want to keep their good receivers.
Jets get two big tackles from the Cowboys and Ravens to protect Rodgers, and the Titans, Steelers, Giants, Eagles all seem to have made some good moves to strengthen their defenses.
The draft next month looks like it will all about quarterbacks. Bears Vikings Commanders Giants and Patriots all need someone, and there are 4 or 5 top QB candidates coming out of college. Bears draft first and will almost definitely take the most in demand, Caleb Williams from USC.
...and then its just a 4/5 month wait until the new season actually starts!

I think the Texans have done some good business. On top of building their draft capital and utilising it well last year. I'd they fill a couple of holes at this year's draft then they will be serious contenders.
Happy enough with our off season in Miami. Losing Wilkins was tough but the contract he is on at the Raiders is mad. We got Zach Sieler on a $20M 3 year contract last summer and his stats are broadly comparable to Wilkins and indeed favourable in a few categories. Xavien Howard has been a good servant but he's washed and it was huge money on a guy who wasn't producing the same numbers as when he signed an elite contract. Poyer is a decent short term fix at safety, Shaquill Barrett is a good addition at LB, Jonnu Smith is a good option at TE coming off a career best receiving year, Jordyn Brooks is another solid pick up at LB and Siran Neal will help an awful special teams unit. I'm most gutted about losing Andrew Van Ginkel, he makes plays every time he is on the park and is a great personality and versatile. That's a great signing for the Vikings.
We need to sort out the QB situation, we either commit to Tua now or move on, I hope it's the former. We also have big needs on the OL but that will be addressed in the draft.

I hadnt realised youd got Shaq Barrett, he had some unplayable seasons at the Buccs and could be gold. Jordan Brooks didnt really do well enough for us to justify extending his rookie contract, i think youve overpaid there a bit. Hes a bit like Patrick Queen, hard to say how good he actually was off his own talent or how much was due to having a Hall of Famer playing next to him at MLB?
I agree the Texans business looks good on paper. Also like the Steelers and Eagles’ moves.

Caleb Williams will obviously go first and then its one high rated receiver or QB after another. Ive looked at multiple mock drafts and its amazing how obsessive you can get about predicting who can go where :greengrin.

The Aaron Hernandez situation starts a lot earlier IMO. That concussion he took on HS is the beginning of his mental deterioration along with playing under Urban Meyer. That guy is a full on ****ing ****.

No defensive player taken until pick 15! Biggest surprise on draft day was Michael Penix jr going very high at #8 to Atlanta, who has just brought in Kirk Cousins to the same position!
Lots of defensive value still left in the second round, including Cooper deJean from Iowa who has quite the highlights reel, and for daft name lovers, CB Kool-Aid McKinstry is still available.

I don't hate the Arizona pick.
Surprising but it's a strategy that has worked well for a team like Green Bay, taking a QB before you really need one and letting them sit and develop makes sense rather than throwing a good young QB into a bad team.
Happy enough with Miami's pick. It was always going to be an OT or LB and Robinson was arguably the best option left on the board at the time so it makes sense to take him.
Also think the Raiders have got a good one in Brock Bowers.

Happy with the Bears picks.
Caleb Williams has been the presumptive first pick for months, and hopefully be the man who changes QB history in Chicago (how many times has that been said )
Was hoping for D-line or Edge with the 9th, possibly even after a trade down, but wasn’t expecting a top 3 WR to be available there, so no issues with the pick. Positive times ahead :greengrin

She took lots of pics just like that.
A friend of hers is doind a year at that college and so got her a ticket to the game. She absolutely loved it.

I think the immensity of the college game is the thing that people this side of the Atlantic dont really comprehend. Lots of stadia over 80,000 capacity regularly filled, passion and noise that conpares very well to the NFL, and from this season huge numbers of players officials cheerleaders and marching bands zigzagging the country by plane literally hundreds of times for away games. (West coast teams now play East coast teams in the same division, a lot of the local rivals won’t play as often, all of which is an emissions disaster but this is America right? :greengrin. I love that stat that Auburn, a medium sized college town in Alabama regularly gets attendances more than the town’s own population, because of the number of alma mater coming back to watch their college team rather than the nfl team nearer where they live.

It's not so much the case now but back in the Orange Bowl days the U were a far bigger draw than the Dolphins in Miami (nowadays after years of mediocrity neither are draws😅). Games v Notre Dame (latterly dubbed Convicts v Catholics of course) were the hottest ticket in town. Both teams crowds suffered after their respective moves to Joe Robbie Stadium. I was fortunate enough to attend a Hurricanes game in 2004 towards the tail end of their time at the Orange Bowl and it was amazing. Frank Gore was the star of the show and Jim Kelly was in attendance and got a huge ovation. The stadium was a wreck by that point but it felt like being somewhere important, it was steeped in both college and NFL history.
Talking of Miami I have my alarm set for tonight's game against the Bills. Feels like a pivotal game even this early and having our 2 starting running backs either out or very unlikely to play is far from ideal. Hopefully we can play on defence the way we did in the 2nd half v the Jags.

Pretty ugly one for the Dolphins last night.
You know when you get those Hibs games where everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong? It was a bit like that.
Tua was having an absolute nightmare of an evening then it managed to get even worse when he took another head injury. You have to think at this point that he must give calling it a day some serious consideration. This number of head injuries and concussions can only be storing up big problems for him later in life.

Another concussion for Tua? Nightmare. That has to be 5 now, or something?

Well that was a ****ing disaster.
Tua was horrible pre injury (as seems the norm for him v Buffalo) and the concussion just compounds things. We are all in on him financially now but I don't really know where we go from here.
Our back up is Skylar Thompson and we have Tim Boyle on the practice squad. There had been persistent rumours all summer that we were keen to bring Ryan Tannehill back as a back up and right now I wouldn't be against that. He's tough as old boots (and he'll need to be behind that line) and he'd be a passable option as an experienced back up or even potentially a starter.
Just a dismal night all round on both sides of the ball.

The guys a good QB, I'm not sure why anyone would doubt him. Sometimes a move is what someone needs.
The Packers rode their luck a bit last night but in reality should have been out of sight by HT. a few more weeks until Love returns. If we can get at least one more win in that time the season could still be a good one.

I’d have him somewhere around 20th if you were ranking QBs, so yeah based on his career so far i find his start surprising. Same with Darnold at the Vikings, thanks for that Sam, always nice to see the whiners get beat.

Yeah, even if Love takes over from next week he's improved his reputation and I have no issues keeping the guy around.

Yeah that's the first time I've seen our defence actually look like it could stop a half competent offence for a while.
If that continues and Hurts can stop turning the ball over we might actually be able to do something in the playoffs this year.

I think youre a weird defense; up front fearsome and always going to generate chaos, the back end i dont really trust the dbs to cover receivers properly. Gardner Johnson looks like a weakness. Not sure Slay still has it either.

Yeah it was like that last year as well, we couldn’t stop a decent passing attack. We seem to have gone down the bend but don’t break route this year and concentrated on making sure our red zone defence is good, limiting teams to field goals where we can, but that relies again on hurts not turning the ball over and us scoring TDs to stay ahead of the game. We’ll have to wait and see how it goes against a proper elite offense…

Vikings looking very much like theyre for real.
Jordan Love looking very much like he’s not moving well on that knee. 0-21 2nd Q.
Buccs taking the Eagles down at this point. Mayfield and Darnold are certainly flying the flag for the unfashionable quarterbacks.

GB have done their best to just hand the game to them. So poor on both sides of the ball. I get they're good but today is as much an implosion for GB than anything else.

I always thought Darnold had the attributes to be a good quarterback (admittedly I've been saying the same about Daniel Jones for about 8 seasons now). He was drafted by a terrible Jets team that has been a QBs graveyard for years then went on to one of the worst NFL teams in recent times. who increasingly look like being another graveyard for QBs, the aforementioned Mayfield being another victim of that franchise.
Who knows we might be talking about Zach Wilson and Bryce Young as MVP candidates this time next year......

Zach Wilson :greengrin Poor guy. Him and Young, youve referenced two guys who we were being told were sure to transfer to moving to the pros, now theyre just memes. The Jets Hard Knocks a season ago was fascinating viewing as to how Wilson just collapsed and lost his teammates confidence. Zach Wilson having a redemption arc somewhere would be great viewing.

saw Packers were getting hammered at vikings so watched the Jets game instead, what a load of penalties they gave away, looked like they would win it on their last drive but again mucked up FT Jets 9 Broncos 10
turns out Packers were very unlucky, winning the last Q 22-3 but still lost out 31-29
