Caught a bit of the end of the first half of Sampdoria v Verona on Freesports. Seems really strange watching a top class football game in front of empty seats. Kind of eerie but the quality of the football is tip top. Currently 0-1 Verona.

Surely if the assistants have been told to keep their flags down until later in the play then him raising it instantly meant that giving the goal could never happen. Would have been uproar had that goal been given.

Lucas moura can play forward. The amount of money spent on that Spurs team could have bought the Leipzig team about 6 times over. Seesegnon alone was bought for double the amount paid for Werner. He had a 60m player on the bench how about getting more out of your overpriced mercenaries rather than moaning about who isn't there. He is totally finished imho. Absolute dinosaur.

Do you think Liverpool would be winning the league without their 3 main strikers?
Would Barcelona be top if they had no experienced strikers available?
I don't think any team could lose their strike force and be successful.

He’s definitely handicapped by lack of strikers. However there’s no real excuses for how poor Spurs are defensively, he’s not tightened them up at all.
Personally I’m enjoying Mourinho getting left behind given how relentless he was with his criticism of Wenger, who failed to adapt in the second half of his Arsenal reign. Karma Jose, karma. Just a shame Wenger has to much class to stick the knife in.

Pochettino got sacked even though he had a fit strike force and Mourinho hasn't signed anyone significant yet.
I'm not particularly a fan of Mourinho, but I think a lot of folk allow their dislike of him to cloud their judgement.
I'm pretty sure that Wenger wasn't shy when it came to having a go at Mourinho, by the way.

Definitely happier being unreasonable when it comes to the most arrogant man on the planet and yes I am talking about Jose here. :greengrin
Of course he will miss injuries to key players however the amount of money spent on that squad is ludicrous in comparison to Leipzig who completely played them off the park. Jose would be better trying to get a tune out of those players than moaning about who isn't there. The vast majority of his squad were individually bought for over 20m and one who he threw under the bus at the weekend over 60m.
I do find his manner and style of play not very palatable to be honest and quite like when he fails in getting a multi million pound squad to have any sort of cohesion or style of play.

This!

I doubt it.
See my post above. He has no fit strikers and I think he'll be given cash to spend.
You’re right, I think he will be given more time.
But José and Spurs is a terrible fit. Their instincts are just in tune. Also, he looks more and more like a spent force.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
Information about the virus
A coronavirus is a type of virus. As a group, coronaviruses are common across the world. COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China in January 2020.
The incubation period of COVID-19 is between two to 14 days. This means that if a person remains well 14 days after contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus, they have not been infected.
Signs and symptoms of COVID-19
The following symptoms may develop in the 14 days after exposure to someone who has COVID-19 infection:
cough
difficulty in breathing
fever
Generally, these infections can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people, and those with long-term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease
How COVID-19 is spread
From what we know about other coronaviruses, spread of COVID-19 is most likely to happen when there is close contact (within 2 metres or less) with an infected person. It is likely that the risk increases the longer someone has close contact with an infected person.
Respiratory secretions produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes containing the virus are most likely to be the main means of transmission
There are 2 main routes by which people can spread COVID-19:
Infection can be spread to people who are nearby (within 2 metres) or possibly could be inhaled into the lungs.
It is also possible that someone may become infected by touching a surface, object or the hand of an infected person that has been contaminated with respiratory secretions and then touching their own mouth, nose, or eyes (such as touching door knob or shaking hands then touching own face)
There is currently little evidence that people who are without symptoms are infectious to others.
Preventing spread of infection
There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus.
Public Health England (PHE) recommends that the following general cold and flu precautions are taken to help prevent people from catching and spreading COVID-19
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. See Catch it, Bin it, Kill it (https://campaignresources.phe.gov.uk/resources/campaigns/101/resources/5016)
Put used tissues in the bin straight away
Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See hand washing guidance (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/866065/Handwashing_techniques.pdf)
try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
If you are worried about symptoms, please call NHS 111. Do not go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.
If you become unwell
Contact a steward who will take you to a room to isolate yourself away from others. Try to stay at least 2 metres away from other people.
Open a window for ventilation if you can, but otherwise touch objects and surfaces as little as possible.
Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service (https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19) to find out what to do next.

They have a fight just to finish 2nd bottom though. They have had 25, 20, 15, 10 games to save themselves. That's single figures now. Last week looked like they had turned a corner and they ended up 2 points worse off with Hamilton than they started the week. Lose tonight and the penny must surely start to drop; they aren't going to put a run together.

Assuming the PSG game must have fans outside the ground? Drums, singing and applause all clearly audible.
Thousands, pics on Twitter.

Incredible how much they get from refs. Actually disgusting.

Yesterday Valencia has fan chants playing on the tannoy. Was a wee bit awkward that the chants didn’t change when Atalanta were celebrating their goals...

Demur sounds like he should have been booked about three times and picks up his first yellow. Whitts like most Hibs players get yellow for very little even when just being beaten to a ball while trying to win it. Sounds like Hearts have reverted to type and trying to get the Buddies down to 10 men by inflicting impact injuries.

But I thought Daniel had revolutionised football with his impossible to play against high press?
He’s junked it and reverted to the Hearts hoof.

Or let us all get on with life and stop pandering to corrupt governments.
2 shots, 1 on target and 1 corner for Hearts. Lots of fouls by them though, 17.

How the **** did we let them blow us away last week,
Because we are in a form slump
Ourselves with a defence that crumbles under pressure I just hope we don’t end up in bottom six as we are not good at battling against teams that now know how to play us

They are utter dug***** and we laugh at them for bringing ex players in to gee them up and tell them what it means to win derbies, but you know what it obviously works. They can't buy a win except against us. ****ing annoying to say the least that they have six of their measly amount of points from us!!

I'm aware he's right, most of the negative stuff he posts is factually correct.
It's the constant need to turn non-Hibs discussions into a Hibs slagging that I'm questioning.
It's tiresome.
