Hearts made fools of themselves, the low fine is almost a laugh in their face of how pathetic the whole thing has been. Barely a threat. The comedy show Hearts created the past few months is the real deterant.

£2500 stinks to High Heaven. There is no way that was based on the merits of the chaos created by Hearts and Partick (and damage to the game). It was as political as it was notional. And nothing at all to do with James Anderson's generosity and potential future generosity :cb Nothing to see here.

We need to keep reminding them that they have gained nothing through this whole episode. They've lost a lot of goodwill and it's cost them a fair bit of money but apart from a lighter bank balance they're in exactly the same position as they would have been if they had just accepted the inevitable in the first place.
Inevitable = the same position they would have been in if the remaining games had been played as originally scheduled.

They're still not finished their stand - still a fair few quid to spend on it :cb:aok:
Souttar will be away soon too :agree:

Comment number 36 on the BBC story about the Aberdeen players:
"Football was only allowed to resume on the understanding that they would strictly observe the ‘bubble’ arrangement to reduce the risk. The players’ actions blatantly disregarded this. If the SFA had any integrity they would severely discipline both them and their club.
Instead they fine Hearts and Thistle for attempting to correct an injustice!"
The internet- allowing idiots to expose themselves.

Has that been decided?
Who pays the SPFL costs?
But what about the SFPL costs?

The family Jambo reckons they should expel Aberdeen and promote Hearts. Don't know if he is being serious.

I think these are the key points. Apart from a few deluded morons in the sickback bunker everyone views this as an embarrassing failure. They are despised by almost every other club and lost a load of money.

Shhh...this is a library.
What did you do in the pandemic Grandad?
Well, Vladdie, our team had been expelled from the league by a corrupt, biased, criminal SPFL and we fought against it. We were outnumbered; there was only us, the third biggest club in Edinburgh, Tom English, a few journalists in four or five national newspapers, BBC Sportsound, the FOH and a few millionaire backers on our side but we took the fight to the enemy. We took them to court and then arbitration looking for justice for the sake of every other team...and £8million.
Did you win Grandad?
No, they schemed and squirmed and connived and got away with a victory in court and at arbitration just because they could prove that they’d done absolutely nothing wrong.
Did you not get the £8million Grandad?
No.
How much did you get?
We were fined £2500.
Can I see your medal Grandad?
Go and play with your wee sister Annie.

Why didn’t the championship start at the same time as the big league? Or am I missing something?

Reduced league program I think of only 27 games. I don't pay much attention to the wee teams in that league though so I might be wrong 🤣

The smaller clubs can’t afford to play behind closed doors mainly due to the lack of tv deal (I think) so they all voted to play a shorter season and start when hopefully they can get fans into the stadium.

When do we find out the costs that Hearts have to pay following the failed arbitration claim?

The arbitration panel was supposed to meet this week to decide on costs.
