The personal abuse on here is vile.
No need after he's gone.
When all is said and done Lee and his staff are people who wanted to be at our club and wanted us to be successful. We should not be gloating and celebrating failure, it has been to no ones benefit that this hasn't worked out. We are a classier lot than that, thank you Lee for the effort and for the loyalty......we all wish it ended differently.

He will get another job and I wish him all the best, agree about the personal attacks, that's not us. He wanted to do well but wasn't up to the job, yesterday's selection and game management confirmed it for me.

Too right! Its not like he was one of those players that don't turn up or hardly put the effort in, he did. Sadly he didn't have the skills needed to realise the vision he had on the pitch. I do hope he finds the right club and goes on the better things, best of luck Lee.

Very poor and amateur for sure, while no one wants to see people lose a job he had to go, pity it did not turn out better.
What price Neil Lennon or outside bet on Roy Kean.

Any one of the 2, would sort out them under performing group of players, with any luck we may even be able to score a goal against Villa, and keep it to 4 against, for an aggregate score of less than 10.

Best news to come out of the cub for a good while. Fair play for taking action now.

This will probably give everyone at the club a nice wee boost and we can start to look forwards with some hope.

Good for SDG stepping up to the mark again. No pressure on him but hopefully we'll move to get the new guy in quick.

That he was hard to understand with his chat, couldn't see how the players could follow instructions, awkward guy that wasn't easy to like. Mentioned that he rarely took responsibility for things and that he never felt like a good fit for us.

In the end he's a football manager and getting the tin tack when results are honking is simply part of the job. It's never nice to see anybody lose their job, but on the other hand, in what other walk of life could you go to a job interview at a firm engaged in exactly the same business as your previous one, two, three, four etc etc employers and still get the job when they knew all these employers had sacked you? And yet it happens all the time in football.

I never had any issue with the way he talks, fitba is absolutely littered with slavers managing clubs, some are entertaining slavers, some are not. Some are good managers, some are not. This is and always was about results and performances for me and the bottom line is that under LJ they for the most part weren't good enough ... the crowd turned in as big a way as I've heard at Easter Road for a long time on Saturday .... there's only ever one outcome when that happens at a club.

I don't know who I want next ... of all the names McInnes is possibly the safe shout given his experience, but he has his downside as well, IE the perception that his teams are incapable of attractive football.

I'm more confident of who I don't want. Scott Brown, Neil Lennon and especially not Roy sodding Kean, who I saw somebody mention a bit further back.

Ho hum .... here we go again

Omonia Nicosea are I would imagine the biggest club in Cyprus, his win ratio was around 38% .. Interestingly his sacking came after defeats to 2 promoted clubs, which sounds in the same ball park as what has finally done for Johnson. His team did respectably against Man United and Real Sociedad running them both close, which is without doubt a feather in his cap.

But this seems to be his MO ... It seems he can get his team up for big games, but just like his time at Hibs he's the March of managers, comes in like a Lion, goes out like a Lamb. We were failing badly by the time he left us and I for one noticed and posted at the time how often he was changing his team and tactics during matches in his final season as if he didn't know beforehand how the opposition would set up or play, in spite of vast experience setting up teams against that very opposition. LJ got slaughtered for doing exactly the same and he didn't have the experience of this league NL did.

As for 'knowing Hibs' .... Pat Stanton knew Hibs, John Blackley knew Hibs, Frank Sauzee knew Hibs, John Collins knew Hibs. All of them sacked and with the exception of Collins without making a dent and in the case of Collins yes he won the League Cup, but after that he failed to get us past Dunfermline with possibly the best team we've had since the Tornadoes for a crack at one of the worst Celtic teams for years in the final.

Not the best idea to name the person on here if someone does know. I imagine the club will be aware and the person will be disciplined asap. Poor from Hibs.

I am gutted it didn’t work out for LJ and his team. I know he wasn’t popular but he did improve us last season and achieved some good results. Unfortunately the start to the league campaign was unacceptable. I wish him all the best.

The sentiment was there with Johnson where the Gordon’s are concerned. Someone to get time, bring his own players in slowly build results, unfortunately we stumbled through last season and anyone you ask would be lying if they said we were a good side to watch. Sneaked a euro place and anyone can be forgiven for finding the positives of that and feeling a new sense of optimism going into the summer. But you could also be forgiven for seeing what was coming next. And that’s how it played out. Not good enough, couldn’t identify a way to improve the team as a unit and we look terrible at the moment. All bluster no blow.

It looks bad, but, to all intents and purposes, there's not a great deal of difference between leaking the story verbally or by sharing a photo of the email containing the story.

We're continually thirsty for ITK information, but it always has to come from someone at the club. If highly confidential information is passed on, it's a leak regardless of how it was communicated.

Snap.

I’m not going to blame the board for not acting sooner (appointing him in the first place is another matter.) They backed their man, gave him two windows to bring in his own players (I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt over last summers one even though he wasn’t blameless) The only person to blame for Lee Johnson’s sacking is Lee Johnson.
