Personally think that is an incredibly brave thing to do not everyone would do it. His communication is very good to what I can see.

I do get the david brent thing but I think it’s more to do with the fact that he is talking on camera whilst at work as well as a bit of his personality.

The fact he is on camera makes it look like the office. He has to do his job but he is also aware he needs to communicate with viewer.

The rest of it I just found to be his personality. Singing a wee bit.

Ultimately, nothing in that concerns me at all. I was quite enjoying it actually.

I don’t see how anyone can watch that and be concerned (I don’t know if anyone is) but I can see how people can make the DB link.

I wonder how everyone on here would come across if they were being followed by a camera, but the remit was to do their job and also interact with the camera audience.

The majority of Hibs fans I saw that said he was like David Brent a before he was announced as our manager, that makes me think when they searched his name on Twitter they saw Sunderland fans call him it and have jumped on the bandwagon
