She's dressed for going on site - no big deal (except it's no longer meant to be a building site).

She is wearing a pair of Uggs with a hard hat. As I said, what a state 😂

Just because her brother is a Hibby doesn’t mean folk can’t laugh at how much of a shambles this whole thing has been. After this I certainly wouldn’t hire him or his company, I’ve also got mates who are tradesmen and support Hibs but wouldn’t let them near my house.

Simple fact is, Budge and her brother along with the whole project have been a laughing stock and long may it continue.

I don't think Budge's brother has much responsibility in the new stand shambles.

His company was in charge of the works under the Wheatfield Stand and have been pretty much complete for months. ( even allowing for the fact the place only got a temp. occupancy certificate yesterday. - I'd guess that has to do with the extra safety work required around the distillery storage facilities which wasn't his remit. )

The responsibility for the new stand delays are the fault of Hardies as contract managers , BSB as structural steel erectors ( if they fell behind program ) and Clark Contracts whose workforce have been on site doing concrete, brick and blockwork construction.

The Budge brother has only been outfitting and obviously couldn't start until the structure was in place.

Of course, the whole omnishambles started when Mrs Budge and the architect Clydesdale decided to go off half-cocked and start construction work without approved plans or a building warrant.

When this stage is complete and the arguments gets round to who pays for all the extras I can only see this ending up in the Courts.

This thread may have a lot of mileage left in it.

As I post this, just over an hour until a decision is made, and if that is what it looks like as of an hour or two ago, I'd be thinking that a safety certificate shouldn't be forthcoming, it's still a bloody building site ffs.

I know everyone jokes about the 70s office block but for me the worst parts are the decisions to retain the curved Anderson shelter roof and the badge seats. Effectively copying the rest of the already dated stadium look.

She hangs about construction sites in Uggs with steel toe caps
And when she built a new stand it had a big glass wall
But Hearts are still ***** on the park and gonna win **** all! HOOOOOOOF!

https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/club-statement-2/

Saturday 18th November, 2017 at 10:36am

The uncertainty which still surrounds our fixture on Sunday is deeply frustrating for all concerned. We have prepared all week to play on Sunday and that remains very much our focus.
We are, however, very aware of the impact this is having on our supporters. We would like to reassure them that, in the event of a postponement, those with tickets will be offered a full refund should they be unable to attend the rearranged fixture.
We all want the game to go ahead as planned and are hopeful that today’s inspection will confirm that is the case.
We will communicate the outcome as soon as possible.

Having got to early afternoon with it not being called off I suspect they're working through a list of things to do but there isn't anything that will be a showstopper. So on that basis I suspect it'll go ahead.

Logically, they must be very close to getting a temp certificate , with only remedial work that could be done in the time needing completed. Well that would be the case with any sensible enterprise. The fact it is going to the wire is crazy. I never bet but I think they will be given a certificate and play. Too much pressure on H&S to do so.

It will be hailed as a trumph.

Which reminds me of another feature the yams' new stand has which our East doesn't - reduced prices for people with extraordinarily short legs (say 2 feet) and extraordinarily long upper bodies (say 20). Section T lower. They've thought of everything!

Ultimately if they'd gone for larger panes of glass, with proper curtain, all the same colour... i.e. Transparent. And all the way to the ground level... it would look good.

But they didn't. So it doesn't.

You can't help but think they have ripped the pish out of the good faith they've been shown by Scottish football. From lying about the initial timescale to perfectly milking a number of games at murrayfield to make money. Taking liberties is nothing new for the hierarchies that have been in charge. I also find it hilarious the belief that they think they have no debt.

Latest pics from the entrance to away end look typical Hearts - cheap - job half done and cutting corners.

I think it will get the go ahead but Shambles FC will have all this as part of their history for fellow fans to look back on and say what a mess you made trying to build a stand.

That's the difference between both clubs - Professionalism ! Our main stand was built on-time and on-budget - the publicity it attracted was positive, fans know they're sitting in something which is safe, well-built, solid ! Compare that to their new stand with all the well-known problems it's had -it might be better/safer compared to the old asbestos death-trap they had but could any of them honestly say their new '8th Wonder Of The World' is 100% better/safer - NO !

Cue orgasmic celebrations on a par of when they went two goals up against us at home in the Scottish Cup.

We all know what happened next.

It's a fairly modest but expensive stand when all is said and done.

It’s just another stand. Hundreds of stands have gone up over the country the last 30 years. This has to be the most hyped stand in history. It’s a stand.

It shows exactly how weakly governed the game is in Scotland when a club can push it down to about 20 hours notice that a game will be played without any threat of sanctions or anyone even knowing what the sanctions would be if they'd failed to convince building control to work overtime in order to sign off a stand the night before a match.

Imagine those who stay in the North of England / Scotland - do they plan to head to the game or not.

It will conveniently pass it's final safety check and give Patrick Thistle a few hours to get themselves on a coach and through to Tynecastle. Same for the supporters.

Really pathetic. Fingers crossed that Thistle give them a good seeing to.
