Aye, keep dreaming mate. Your only chance is if I forget to pick a QB.

You need at least 3 RBs in this game. You have none, I'm just curious who'll you end up with. Big gamble and could cost you big style. i.e. NO WINS.

We'll see fella. We will see.

Rotowires iPhone app does that. I think. I just installed it today.

One site, I forget but can find out again, lets you plug in your league details and it will rank everything for you like who has the strongest team that week, etc.

But let's face it. It's a lot of luck. Preparation does help you and the experts do know more than you and I, but every game is a unique set of unpredictable situations.

You were safe with Stafford. Was never going to pick him. If Ryan had fell to the last round I'd have picked him but the long term plan has been to pick 2 from the lesser grade. I'm going right out of left field for my starter but before I pick him I'm gonna pick a safe set of hands (nothing fancy) just in case it goes horribly wrong. Romo, Eli, Flacco, Palmer, Bradford and even big Ben are an option. Matt Schaub? erm.....forget about it.

I agree with Dave Dameshek in that they'll be the second NFC wildcard and can only guarantee that they'll lose to the Hawks and 49ers away. Pead can't carry their running game and with an improved OL I'm expecting great things for Sam this year.

I reckon I might do a bit of to-ing and fro-ing this year. I fancy Eli to have a good year with his receiving corps all healthy this year and no expectations from the press/wider NFL after a disappointing year last year.

Looking at what TSSF and others have posted I'm taking it that they are using more than one list. I have one that I use but it's basically just a back up as 9/10 times I am just picking off the top of my head. It's easier for me to follow who everyone else is picking that way and see who's still available but I don't check any of the rankings sights, dark horses/sleepers sights or follow any recommendation sights. Put it this way, I don't just pick the next highest ranking player. Like I said though, it's probably NOT a good thing and no doubt why I ended up last, like last year. It's also why I don't have a starting QB yet (my next pick). I'll probably end up last again this year but so long as I beat you and the other two it's all gravy :aok:.

RB Lagarrete Blount, New England.

A potentially great pick, particularly if Vereen or Ridley go down injured. He was outstanding on Thursday against the Eagles and he'll run riot for us when given the chance this year.

I toyed with him in my last pick but actually thought he would still have been available next time around. :aok:

I remember him sharing the workload with Doug Martin at the start of last year, it was considered to be neck and neck between them for the Buccs starting runking back job. So he must have talent.

cause they are both good defences and the ravens would have got picked by someone who doesnt already have 1.

But. But. But. You don't need two D's, except for a bye week. Hey, each to their own. I'm happy for my competition to fill their bench spots with spare defenses and kickers. :)

quite liking this pick, last year the bucs were one of the best units at stopping the run, but were let down by their inability to do anything against the pass, upgrades @ linebacker, safety and a shutdown corner should see this D make big strides this year :agree:

If you've got a top D you need to have two because if you release the really good one someone will pick them up and your left with the crap D you picked up for that week to do you for the rest of the season. If you've got a poor/crap D then yeh, your right. No point in having two. What you'll find is that half of us will have 2 D's and half of us will have 1 when we start.

The idea is you don't drop your D on their bye week, you put them on your bench. Most teams will have a little wiggle room on their bench, it's not usual that you have to keep them all - injuries, poor performances, etc.

As I said, it's each to their own and this is only my second year but if you want multiple Ds on your team rather than more depth at the skill / scoring positions, so be it.

I have one "cycle" spot on my bench which is used to pick up/drop FAs where applicable depending on which position is on a bye-week :agree:

I found that last year I made some silly moves in that regard. I help onto Hernandez for longer than I should have really. It seems unlikely that anyone would have a team of 15 superstars, players that cannot be dropped because of their immerse value. But then you can't play them all either so perhaps trade candidates? I bet most people would take a decent RB in trade for a D. You can also play without a D that week. Some weeks Ds don't make any points anyway.
