Just to throw a rather large spanner into the works, we've just had a pretty considerably bereavement in our family and I've no idea what my availability will be like for the next wee while.

If I can't tie in with the live draft, I can just use autopick hopefully - either that, or ask one of you to pick for me.

Pretty sure we could wait until you come back to do a live draft. Don't think the season kicks off for another 5 weeks so plenty of time and it would give the others time to catch up with what's going on.

Depends on the time limit per pick, if it's say 2 mins then it would only be a couple of hours at most. A 30 second limit would be good though and make things interesting.

Also depends on which internet sight we use to play.

sounds good to me. saints games are saturday 20th and friday 26th so I will be up to watch both of those.

Yes but at 30 secs a pick it'll be a nightmare for you. If you want anyone outside the next top picks you'll struggle.

Cheers but it's to big a league to work out the permutations of who might go where and who will be available each pick time. Like I said as well, if Max doesn't play it'll even the league out and make it easier for you guys. Can still kick your ass on the main thread come game time :aok:

Well now you have because there's no way in hell I will cast a vote for Trump. Even if it wasn't Trump the choices would have been horrendous (except maybe Kasich). I think you can probably do this using the NFL fantasy app on your phone. I would NOT trust a mobile browser.

Because the order is snaked, I don't know that picking first is any better than picking 14th. I will get (theoretically) the best player on the board and the 28th best player whereas whoever picks last will get the 14th and 15th best players. In theory, everyone should be pretty equal.

Agreed. It's not like we're picking at the top of every round. The snake draft is pretty fair and if anything probably favours those picking later in the first round.

My draft didn't go according to plan. My plan was to go for mostly WRs at first, then RBs but I missed one pick and was automatically given an RB. What I didn't notice is that I was also switched to autopick mode so that when my next pick came around I got another RB. First 4 four picks included 3 RBs. Oops.

Sorry for those who missed it. If we go back to an offline draft next year then I'll free up my spot for someone else. But first thing is first, kicking arse this year.

I'd be looking for a WR/RB, not sure who's trade was who but I have ertz as my no1 TE and he's passed his bye week now and the other offer would be a QB2 and a RB2/flex at best once this week passes.

Mine was Dak and Darkwa which would perhaps have helped you this week (and probably beyond at the QB position), but I'm not here to convince you to accept my trade. I'll try one more but it won't go through in time unless we change the trade settings.

I'm not sure how you consider me trading away Jordy Nelson as me strengthening my team? I was just looking for some help at RB and figured that offering to trade away my top WR was the way to go. Well I won't be playing next year so you can go back to your awesome, 4-week long offline draft. Personally speaking, I missed the offline draft - I didn't even know it had started because I hadn't been on here in a while due to life.

What you call "a ridiculously small amount of time" is what the rest of the fantasy football world calls "a draft". This is the only league I've ever played in that draft offline over a period of weeks.

Edit: I'm assuming I'm at least one of "some people" since you didn't mention anyone by name for some reason. Not paying attention because you didn't like the way the draft went seems very petty to me. Anyway, since nobody gives a F about this league any more I'll focus my attention on my other leagues and let you guys have your own fun.

We should try again next year with our old skool draft and less teams. Its been hard work finding even average RBs and WRs who are getting game time when you have 13 other players competing for them. I've always used like an app or website, I looked back and I understand the offline draft part but it was also mentioned you guys use Nfl.com I was just wondering how if you set up a team on here how do they get transferred over to Nfl.com? Sorry for any confusion lads

I think you register on nfl.com and then gatecrasher will give you a code to join our league. We make our draft picks on here then gatecrasher adds them all to our teams once the draft is complete.

There's a mobile app from nfl.com to make changes to your team once all the picks have been done. Or you can use the website.
