It's actually because he is a vegan and has an afro, if he just cut his hair and chowed down on a burger king then he'd be signed up straight away.

I can't see him being signed and I think it is a disgrace. You look at some of the characters that teams will sign people with violence convictions, DUI's, drugs charges, dog fighting, etc. and then you look at Kaepernick who's only crime has been to peacefully protest injustice that he sees in America.

While all true, one team will break I'm sure, probably after the season gets underway. Shame though as I've always liked him, looked good that season he went to the super bowl.

He's started slow but he's been a big player season after season, and I'm guessing he's going to kick on shortly, up to you of course:aok: similarly Beast mode has started slow but it's inevitable he'll get the ball more as the season progresses, he's just too dominant a player.

My entire fantasy team went AWOL this week - my highest scorers were the Detroit Lions defense...

I really wish there was an auto-sub feature in the NFL for players who are injured and don't make the game. Stefon Diggs was ruled out 2 hours before kickoff. It wouldn't have made one iota of a difference (unless my kicker somehow gets 50 points tonight), but it's a frustrating thing.

I've never thought trades were particularly important to the game, tbh. I like looking at the waiver wire and making changes to my team that way. (I think you're just peed off you never drafted a decent TE :faf:

Perhaps it's because in another league I was in (not this year), there were trades going quite regularly and it kept it interesting.

I get that some trades just won't suit people, but the second highest scoring QB in the league for a TE that's sat on someone's bench for weeks (when the same people don't have great QBs) just feels parochial to me...

Bairn said on the NCAA/NFL thread that they wanted to play as well, just put it on the wrong thread I think. That would make 14 with Grammyb, so a 14 team league or an 8 and a 6.

14 team league is tough, but it makes draft research and getting the draft right vital because trades generally become less likely. It also makes our offline draft an absolute marathon..... :greengrin

To be honest I found the splitting of the league less fun last year as part of the fun of it is the banter on the thread on here, which seemed to be less last year than in previous years. I'd be more in favour of a single league, but I know its really tough and if you get the draft wrong or lose a starter to injury you've virtually no chance of pulling things back through picking up players on waivers.
