On topic, Cwka turned down a new contract offer from Barnsley so hardly believe he would come to Hibs?

We still need: A strong, injury free center half who will command the position while bringing on both Hanlon and Froster; A good GK who also commands his area and leads from the goal line; A midfield playmaker and general to ensure we don't lose out in the middle of the park like we have done for years now! And; Another striker! Personally, I'd love to see a sweeper in the mold of you know who :) who sat in-between midfield and defense.

I think along the same lines as you. We need to get the spine of the team sorted and be solid but also able to break quickly and be able to pass the ball up to the strikers. So far we have the midfielder and one striker. Hopefully oxley becomes the keeper just leaving a strong ch,midfield generall and another striker. Doubt wel get them all but as long as we get the gk,ch anf centre mid we will have a good season.

Agree about the spine of the team, If we still had a fit Thomson and McPake, I'd feel a bit more confident for the season ahead
