So if we win tonight and Germany beat the Swiss, we will we be guaranteed 3rd irrespective of our Hungry result.
Does it go by head to heads before goal difference.

Whatever you do, don't go to The Kings Arms, which makes a big thing out of being an 'English Pub'

Koln was immense yesterday can't believe the amount of Scotland fans. Went on an all inclusive boat along the rhein, €20. A few dozen Scots fans made their moneys worth in pilsner. Every pub in Dusseldorf packed with scots today
I'm somewhere in the North Sea with my mate at the moment. Fortunately we're on a big boat getting navigated by a captain who hopefully knows exactly where we are and where we are going
Turkey v Portugal for us on Saturday, then a boozer in Dusseldorf to shout our nation on to victory on Sunday

I’d be surprised if the two Irish boozers next to each other aren’t showing the game. Neither website has details of games being shown. Get in touch with them in advance, see if booking possible or pitch up early doors

We spend three days between Munich and Cologne there. Great wee city - it is on my list of places to revisit.
We watched some of the games in Finnegan's Irish Bar. But there is a Kebab shop with outdoor space with a big TV across the road and down about 50 yards who were fantastic. Food was great too.
There is another Irish bar in the area with TVs.
This is all just up from main train station into the Aldstat

Never laughed so much in a long time. Munich was very special as a whole experience, the fan march and the game in Cologne were memories gained that will live forever. Travelled over yesterday without a ticket
Was rather concerned about somewhere to watch the game
Unknown to me a Hibs daft German Bernd had been working feverishly behind the scenes to procure match tickets and it all came together
Ticket now in the app.
Bernd travels over to watch Hibs a couple of times a year and we always arrange tickets for him. He is also a member of the Hibs club
Arranging tickets for him in Edinburgh has been trumped by his efforts over the last few days. Great to have Hibs friends who look after each other at times like this. He is coming to the game tomorrow with us and he won’t be buying a round.

7.18pm Wednesday.. settled down to watch pre-match build up when my phone pings Whatsapp ... younger brother who Ive not heard a peep out of in several weeks, sending pic of sign saying willkommen in Koln.... followed by multiple pics of fanzone and his heap of an old minibus parked somewhere outside the ULEZ type zone...
He had obviously just had a brain fart and headed off on his own without a thought for anything else - miracle his bus made it but guess no accommodation worries..
I wonder how many others have done pretty much the same over last few days and thought (or not thought) i'm off...and just found a way to get there

I've been telling friends and family for years what a great place it is to visit, and how there's so much more to it than Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.

I've not been since pre COVID and one of the things that struck me was how much cash is still used. I was aware Germany was more cash centric that the UK on previous visits but thought things may have changed in the last 3-4 years. I was surprised, not unpleasantly, how many places were either cash only or at least cash preferred.

Last night in Neuss/Dusseldorf been tremendous. Locals so friendly and all other nationalities. Roasting today about to watch the first day in a beer garden before going to my Turkish local to watch the second game. Try to keep it sensible today as have the train to Stuttgart tomorrow and probable mayhem. Went to Venlo in Holland for the day yesterday and still dozens of Scotland fans about. We've outnumbered all the rest by 10 to 1 in all the cities I've been, probably due to others being able to travel on trains for the day of the game?
Been to Germany, Italy, Holland and Belgium in the last year and Edinburgh far dearer for food and drink than all of them 😢

When you're in Orilleys can you collect my dignity and self respect please? Think I lost it there.

Could be a nice payout for this, depending on the reason for the cancellation.

Staff sickness. As it’s under 1500km flight it’s only €250 each comp. Had to stump up for Uber to cologne and a hotel so due €350 back for those two

We saw the cancellation and booked ourselves onto the
11:25 from Dusseldorf to Edinburgh tomorrow. We'll claim the cost back from Eurowings in due course.

Just home from Germany. Great experience being at all 3 games apart from the football on offer.
I demand we have every Euro’s in Germany going forward.

Be home in the next half an hour or so. Brilliant 6 days. Was lucky enough to get tickets for both games I was out there for, there were a couple of things from Cologne that will live with me forever.
We let ourselves down on the pitch though. I don’t think we’re a top team by any means but Clarke never got the best out of any of our top players. So poor.

I said the other day to someone that every Euros should be in Germany - stadiums - transport (usually ok?!) and atmosphere.
Having been to other tournaments - Germany just seems to do things well.

Transport was a shambles for the first 2 games in Munich and Koln but had no issues in Stuttgart yesterday getting to and away from the ground.
Hopefully we get back into Europe next year and get drawn against a German side.
So lucky to get to Germany twice over last 10 days. Absolutely brilliant fun and the Scotland fans are truly world class. Let down by the team and manager but wouldnt have changed it for anything.

Heading back to Zurich this morning. The experience of a lifetime, Köln in particular will live long in the memory, both march and fan zone next to the Rhine

What a trip. Scotland v Switzerland, Slovakia v Uktraine, Scotland v Hungary all attended. Many Bratwurst and schnitzels eaten and beers drunk. Met so many amazing people from all over the world, clapped down the street by strangers cos of the top I was wearing. Never seen any trouble, just a generally friendly atmosphere.
Just finally heading for Edinburgh after an interesting journey. Got the email on Sunday night to say that our flight from Dusseldorf to Paris was cancelled so we were being rerouted to Copenhagen then onto Paris to get our connecting flight. Got to Copenhagen to be told KLM hadn’t actually checked if there was space on the flight to Paris so we ended up agreeing to fly to Amsterdam last night, and now on Flight to Edinburgh. Was midnight when we got into our hotel last night otherwise I probably would’ve been quite happy about a night in Amsterdam [emoji23]

KLM kind of mucked us about also. Flight from Frankfurt to Amsterdam delayed short time connecting flight to Edinburgh allowed to go despite 20 or so on our plane. Rerouted to Paris then Edinburgh much later in the day. So arrived Edinburgh 1030 at night rather than 1 in afternoon.

As a Scot living in Germany, I can't praise my fellow countrymen/women enough. They've done more for German/Scottish relations in a couple of weeks than politicians and diplomats have managed to do in decades.
The image that many Germans had of the Scots was one that was adorned upon us by our nearest neighbours. But instead of being met by an army of violent stingy alcoholics Germany has fallen in love with a Tartan Army that engaged with the locals and other fans from the off and have won the hearts of Germans by being the absolute antithesis of what is expected of British football fans.
Social media and the traditional media is awash with stories and clips of Scotland fans doing their thing, music, singing, dancing, partying, engaging with others, being polite and helpful and yes drunk, but all in a such a good natured way that it has shone an incredibly positive light on our wee country and has broken many lazy clichés that some might have previously believed.
I think on the back of this competition, Scotland might see a huge increase in tourism in the next few years.
Well done the Tartan Army

To echo what others have said I had the time of my life in Germany.
I said a few weeks back it felt like a party I had waited half my life for and it didn't disappoint (well the football did but I'm a Hibs and Scotland fan so that's hardly a new feeling:greengrin). Traveled with good mates and met some great people across there. From the elderly German couple buying us a round as their guests to the Eintracht Frankfurt casuals plying us with shots and regaling us with tales of battles past the locals couldn't have been more welcoming. I've been to Germany a few times so the friendliness of the locals was no surprise to me but a couple of the guys were first time visitors and were blown away. There is nothing like actually meeting people from another place to blow away stereotypes.
The trip to Cologne will live with me forever. Cologne Cathedral, inside and out, goes right into my top 10 most impressive buildings I have ever seen list. Dancing about under a giant Scotland flag in torrential rain on the Alter Markt, bantering with passing England fans and raiding the local kiosks until they ran out of beer.
There has been a lot of snide comments about Scotland 'just being happy to be there' and it's certainly not a mentality we should expect from players or manager. However I think it's a statement that is true of fans of most nations. A whole load of people freed from a lot of the responsibilities of the everyday for a few days of sightseeing, football and beer. Damn right I was just happy to be there.
