No idea of the quality of those tops in particular but on the whole their gear is decent:

May just be site traffic with folk buying euro/ Copa America tops. Soccer03.com still up

I ordered on 04 a couple of days a go. They did have a red banner at the top but it wouldn't load. Normally a message advising of order times may be longer

Yeah, had been using 03 but it went offline and 04 came online. My Scotland away one just arrived yesterday and looks great.

A bit of me think that they take the order and then "request" imperfects from the factory. The flag on the collar and sizing patch don't line up perfectly

Yes, don't refresh the site yourself. There is a button which invites you to refresh the code itself. I used that, although I maybe could have waited for it to appear .

Mu boss went on to the site at 10:10am and got in to the purchasing page about an hour later.

But when checking for games it said had tickets left, when you selected and searched it said there weren't enough available for the purchase.

I looked at some games but I'm not paying 150 euros for a game I'm not bothered about. Fan zones will be fine with me

******. Absolute ****** 😅. It sold out about 3 minutes before I got in so we're going to Slovakia against Ukraine and Belgium vs Romania as we wanted to go to a game "for real" for the experience. Rather a lot of money but I'm fortunate to be able to afford it.

There were quite a few matches (maybe around 8, from memory, including one of knockouts) left when I eventually got in/got round to checking late this afternoon. All starting at the 3 figure mark. At least they were showing as having availability on the homepage.

Unfortunately nothing suited my dates and whereabouts. So it’ll be hoping something random appears from a mate, or I have a stroke of luck once I’m over there.

I’m quite comfortable going and enjoying the cities and boozers anyway 😎

Tried to get in as was after some Italy v Spain tickets.

An hour and a bit later when I got in they only had €400 tickets left. No ta!

Clicked the back button, (instead of the tiny “click here” in grey at the side and the system binned me out!

I’ve got SSC tickets for the Scotland games and already had Cat 3 Slovakia v Ukraine tickets in Düsseldorf. Just wanted to fill one of our days but no dice.

I’ll see what people have out there. May be locals selling some at not too much of a rip off. Not massively bothered if I miss Spain v Italy or not.

Staying in Dusseldorf and noticed the trains between there and Cologne looked a few quid dearer than I thought they’d be. Trainline had quite a few with no prices showing though. On the flip side I got my train from Dusseldorf to Stuttgart for £30. Same for a train from Stuttgart to Zurich where we’re flying home from.

I have a hunch it’s all about when you paid. I got our Düsseldorf to Stuttgart back in January I think, and first class one way for €35.

Will be using my match tickets the day after to blip about locally. Only slight fly is we are staying in Aachen on the Thursday night and it’s outside the regional freebie transport. Will likely have to get a return from Cologne and then get back on the match day travel at Cologne (have tickets for Slovakia v Ukraine so need to get to Düsseldorf.

Yeah I already have. Ticombo in January. Missed out on the SSC sale by one point. After all the crap scotland teams I’ve followed all over the place down the years, there was no way I was going to miss the opening game at our first proper tournament! Would rather not have enabled these resale sites/touts but what can you do.

There should’ve been an extra 5k tickets given to associations to avoid this.

Out of interest, and a bit off topic, when does the Scotland Supporters Club open for new members? Or does it just not at the moment because it's full?

I've been going to a few games lately and I'm taking one of the bairns to her first next month so feel like I should really start collecting the points and getting in the priority queue for the bigger games.

Check out the vrr website for travel between Düsseldorf/Köln/Dortmund. You can buy group tickets on the day of travel, up to 5 people, for 24 hours travel that works out around €10-12 each. That will cover all local travel (u bahn, s bahn, buses) in the origin and destination city too.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread. For cheap travel, Flixbus offer trains and buses throughout Germany. You can get from Düsseldorf to Dortmund for about €6.

Existing members will get a chance to renew Dec of this year, and new members will be able to join in Jan '25.

As long as you apply early doors in Jan, on the day, you should get memberships, but they will sell out shortly after sale day, I would guess.

I've never had a restricted view seat but have been to a game there.

I think there are 2 issues you may have. One is that some sections are divided by acrylic 'glass'. It's annoying but not a massive impairment to view. The other option, which is worse, is the pillars which hold the roof up. The line directly behind them has no seats but seats at either side will have a degree of impairment of one area of the pitch. It will be worse the closer you are to the pillar obviously. Image in the link shows the pillars in question:

Compared to the UK it's dirt cheap. I pay €49 for a monthly card that I can use to travel anywhere in Germany and for an extra €16 I can take my bike with me. With that ticket I can use all means of public transport in the whole of Germany including: Bus, train, tram, underground and even boats. The only exception is Intercity fast trains. Compare that to Lothian Transport that costs £66(€77)for a Ridacard that is regional and restricted to buses and trams.

I don't think Germans can complain about public transport prices.

Thanks, I suspect it will be a pillar but for €160 I am still expecting a good view. Like you say hopefully not right in front of it.

To be honest I am almost as much looking forward to the atmosphere in Berlin on the day, there is a massive fan zone at the Brandenburg Gate so that sounds amazing. I worked out it could be France v Belgium so could be a good game to be at.

There's plans afoot to arrange a Scotland fan village. The location is not 100% but it's looking like the Kulturbrauerei (Culture Brewery) in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. It's an old brewery that has been re-purposed for concerts and other cultural events. There will be live screening of the games and music events as well as food and drink stalls. It will be a decent alternative to the Fan Mile which can get a bit mental as previous tournaments have proven.

In what way? A nightmare to get drinks and/or get a view of the screen?

Looks like I'm going to be in Berlin for the first two games so good to know about the brewery

It's a fenced off area with a capacity of 100,000. Entry is free but there can be long queues to get in with everyone having to undergo security checks.

Like any massive event you'll always get idiots, especially when there's alcohol on sale from 13:00-01:00. At the last World Cup here in 2006 there were lots of people jumping the fences which led to overcrowding when the Germans were playing, although the local government have said that won't be allowed to happen this time round.

Beer and food are overpriced but I guess that's normal at these kind of events and it doesn't stop people getting wellied. But you'll get the usual alcohol related problems you'll find anywhere where alcohol is part of the local culture. You'll also get theives and criminals looking to take advantage of the masses.

I never personally had or saw any problems there and the surrounding entertainment was top notch with various bands and football celebrities making an appearance on the big stage at the Brandenburg Gate, in 2006 I saw Pele there and Simple Minds topped the music programme.

I'm sure you'll have a great time but like at any major event like this it's wise to keep your wits about you.

Yes I would, if you're there for 2 weeks then it should pay for itself. A single trip will cost you €3.50, so if you make 1 journey per day for 2 weeks then you've already started saving. Added bonus is you can use it for day trips outside Berlin if that takes your fancy, the Baltic see is just a couple of hours away and the Polish border and German town of Frankfurt Oder an hours ride for cheap fags and drink.

Just be aware that the €49 ticket is a monthly subscription that you can cancel up to the 10th of the month before the next subscription is taken from your account, so best you cancel it straight away once you have your ticket.

Hope you have a ball.

Aye I decided against shelling out €400 for Romania v Ukraine or Georgia v Turkey.

Got tickets for Belgium v Slovakia already so quite happy with that and 5 days in the sun watching football and drinking beer.

Just seen the weather forecast mate, looks like rain.😀

I know there will be other Scots in Berlin, but not sure how many given our games are in the west. I'm assuming most Scots watching in Berlin might be folk who live there? So I expect to be very very much in the minority, but a vocal minority!

I'm not overly worried about English fans tbh.

We are based in Frankfurt and leave a couple of days before their 2nd game which takes place there, I daresay there will be a bit of an overlap.

I was in France at the time of the Euros in 2016 when England and Russia had the battle in Marseille. We traveled from my mates in Montpellier by train and it was full of English fans. We are both Scottish and the banter was good natured and the vast majority of the guys there just seemed like ordinary guys following their team. There was one obnoxious prick who was noising up a table of French students and just generally trying to be the big man. He stood out because he was very much a lone wolf.

Of course there will be a few idiots, I daresay in a fanzone on opening night with 100K Germans for company there will be a few idiots as well. I'm fairly comfortable about the whole thing tbh.

We originally booked Essen as our base for the tournament but got wind of it being a bit of a hub for English fans. We've since changed plan to Mannheim. I'm sure there will be English everywhere but the thought of being in the middle of some garden furniture chucking contest doesn't exactly appeal.

It might be this one, because this is advertised on the site as being all inclusive, and the boats look familiar:

https://www.w-flotte.de/

It was a few years ago when I did it, and it cost about 10 euros less then. But it was about 3 euros a drink in the altstadt so we worked out if we had 6 beers then the ticket for the trip was essentially free. We managed to 7 so actually made money :greengrin

We did one that went down the river and to an island or park and came back, lasted about 2 and a half hours. But it's also just a nice thing to do on a sunny day

Think of the Mall in London, all cordoned off with street bars and food stalls either side of the road and large TV screens along the route and you'll not be far off. The fan mile runs from the Siegessäule to the Brandenburg Gate with a wooded park either side of the road. It'll be mobbed when Germany or Turkey play, otherwise I doubt it will be filled to capacity most other days.

In 2006 I didn't witness any real antisocial behaviour but there were reports of incidents in and around the area in the press. But with that amount of people and alcohol in play, you'll always get some idiots.

I work pretty much directly at the Brandenburg Gate and will definitely take in some games there if I'm not actually at the games where England and Scotland are playing.

Enjoy yourself and if you behave we likely won't bump into each other.

I’ve been considering the same.

Doesn’t really sit right with me to rip people off but I have England V Serbia tickets. If I could sell them for over the odds and buy Scotland V Switzerland tickets for over the odds off the money then id consider it.

Like you though, I’ve no idea how to go about it. I don’t even know what form the ticket will come in/will ID need presented with the ticket etc so wouldn’t want to commit to selling.

Tickets will be available via an app on the day within an area around the stadium, with Bluetooth switched on (?!?).

I believe you can 'transfer' tickets to another person's app ahead of the games though. So I think that would sort getting the ticket to a buyer.

Anyone know of a good place to sell England tickets?

Looking at the €49 ticket and I think I’ll probably do it. Have my longer distance tickets (Dusseldorf to Stuttgart booked) but reckon I would get enough value out of this over my few days in each city.

Just for anybody that uses this, or has used one before. Once you’ve got the ticket is that it, you just show that without the need to get tickets for the journeys you’re going on? Kind of like what you’d do with a rialcard here I suppose.

Yeah you can put the card on an app the links here

Then you just show the card if asked. Definitely should be good value for most as can be used on trains, underground, buses and even some public boats. I'm in Dusseldorf so can use the airport train when arriving and leaving and visiting Dortmund and Koln for the game.

I was wondering if other people are doing anything exciting over there and some things to do
Im going to visit some towns when sober Monshau via Aachen
Schloss Drachenburg via seeing Bonn
You can actually use it to visit a couple of Dutch cities just over the border with the €49 ticket Venlo, Maastricht and Heerlen for example.
If into darts the European open is on in Leverkusen the weekend of the 21st.
The Halle tennis open is on 17th to 23rd of June, there is two Halle's in Germany its the one above Dortmund
Phantasialand is one of the biggest theme parks in Europe near Koln
For history the Gestapo headquarters in Koln, history of German Republic in Bonn and Dachau near Munich are all hard but interesting
Brewery tours in Dusseldorf and Koln are good to try the local beers Altbier and Kolsh.
Porche and Mercedes museums in Stuttgart
Any more anyone ha?

16-24th for us - tickets for Switzerland game with the English wife - although fair play to her she’s bought the yellow and pink Scotland top (1990)

Plan to travel loads - this helps! fan zones holiday.. may try pick up more tickets when we’re there

We’re 7 days stay koln, 1 Frankfurt (flights to and from Frankfurt so will be easier travel with the Monday hangover)

This travel pass work from Koln airport into town?

Anyone heading out or know anyone heading out on Wednesday the 12th to Munich?

7 of us heading out then, no sure how busy to expect Munich to be with Scotland fans a couple of nights before the game, suspect the day before will be mobbed.

There’s 200k Scots heading over. I reckon Munich will be rammed.

Thankfully there’s things like the world’s biggest beer garden and the Olympic Park.

I get in early on the 13th. Will be heading into the center once I’ve ditched my bags.

the Olympic park has apparently a 30k capacity limit. Munich is going to be rammed, for the game itself if no ticket, you may have to wander outside the main centre.

Just booked tickets for phantasialand theme park near cologne, a few hours from the football won't hurt, booked for the same day England play. It's a small park that can get very busy but it has some amazing one of a kind rides. The fly and taron coasters are great, as is the log flume.

For everybody staying in the düsseldorf/Köln area, Landschaftpark in Duisburg is worth a visit. It's a disused steel works that you can wander around, great for photography and the scale of the place is incredible.

Bar the official allocations the whole stadium is mixed. Generally the allocations start in the middle of behind the goals and move round to the center. That way Theres a mix of all ticket categories.

If you haven’t bought from a French or Austrian source then you will be neutral.

However as we’ve seen from the Scotland matches, bar the Germany game I reckon we’ll have the lions share of the tickets all over the grounds.

It was a trip advisor forum I'd read when it wasn't being accepted, said just put in a German address as it doesn't show when you show your pass. German Post codes are numerical and don't have letters like ours so it doesn't work. I think some just put 00000 with the uk address. I've already got an account but see how you get on might have changed. In the dozens of times I've been to Germany I've been asked to show a ticket a couple of times but worth getting it for €49

The email address wont matter - its just somewhere for them to send your tickets to and information etc!!

I set up an extra Uefa account with a random Hungarian address and one of my other normal UK email addresses so that I could try an extra way to get Hungary V Scotland tickets. The account was set up fine and I successfully got all info from Uefa. Didn't get a ticket in the ballot mind that way ( but got one eventually separately!)

Yes, any ticket that is not an official FA allocation is technically neutral.

Enviously being a tournament in Gemrnany while playing Germany will mean lots of Germans. But I wouldn’t worry.

I bought one for this month on the MVV app and it was straightforward. No need for photo ID, just my credit card details. It seems each area in Germany has it own app and some are easier to use than others. MVV is the Munich area (although I was working in Aachen, quite near to Cologne) but the Germany ticket is nationwide so it doesn't matter where you buy it from,

The trains to the airport are very good too. Takes about 10 minutes.

Did notice there was a fair bit of homelessness sadly, so you'll fit in for a night 😁.

Probably okay - it's not miles away (the other Frankfurt airport is miles away).

The train station is pretty central, but I know what it's like when you land, probably had a few drinks at airport and on plane, and just want to get somewhere.

It's cheaper and quite easy to catch public transport, but bugger it - I just get a taxi and dropped off straight at the door, dump the bags and get back out. You'll probably still be working out how to buy train tickets and what train to catch in that time....

Leave every 15 mins and will take about 15mins.

If you arrive to Terminal 2 then it takes a bit longer to get down to the train station - catch the sky train between terminals.

Have either of you used it to sell tickets? Trying to get rid of England tickets but it asks to screenshot the ticket however the ticket app doesn’t allow screenshots

Never used it full stop but seems to be seen as fairly reputable as far as these things go. There is nothing at a level I’d want to pay anyway.

Got registered and got 49 euro ticket in basket but can't buy until I completed personal details which are in German despite me setting it as English, has name and email but need to input address, any idea as to where I'm going wrong? Cheers

So this ticket allows you on all local train bus and metro transit?

Only thing it doesn’t allow is use of high speed (ICE) trains I believe

Deutschlandticket will be valid on regional and local transport - i.e. on regional trains, suburban trains, streetcars, subways and buses throughout Germany.

Of course, you can also use a Deutschlandticket to travel in the entire MVV tariff area.

The Deutschlandticket will not be valid on long-distance trains (for example, ICE, IC, EC or Flixtrain) or in 1st class.

Got this yesterday for about 22 quid, bargain. Do you still need to book trains in advance or is it just a case of showing the ticket/QR code to the conductors?

Took a stroll over to the Fan Mile in my lunch break today. They're in the process of building the biggest tv screen I've ever seen and they've covered the whole area in AstroTurf. Covered stands are being erected left and right of the Brandenburger Gate with a view towards the massive TV. Plenty more to see WR. They've laid about 100 000m² (guesstimate) of astroturf between the gate and the victory column. All of which will be used afterwards to resurface school and club pitches. Bars and beer tents are starting to arrive. It's a 2 minute walk from my work so I'll definitely be taking in a few 18:00 kick-off games before heading home. I'll give the German and Turkish games a miss as it will be absolutely heavin.

I was supposed to be away working during the group stages, but that's looking less likely due to the UK elections. I'm actually looking forward to it now. :greengrin

Hi Mark, the Kulturbrauerei are live streaming all the games and the Scottish Representation in Berlin will be putting on entertainment and food/drink stalls for the Switzerland and Hungary games. They've decide to locate themselves at the Fan Mile for the Germany game. Entry to the Kulturbrauerei will be with ticket which costs €6.17.

Not been for a while but, The Globe was always good for the football.

I remember watching the 6-0 game in there and it was a cracking night.

IIRC I watched the Hibs Hearts game on the Sunday after Dnipro away, the one where Gordon made the absolutely brilliant save in injury time.
