    This administration has been carefully choreographed by Hearts.

    They cheated to avoid relegation last season and now they are doing it before the SPFL rulebook comes into use. Hence they get the 15 points deduction under the SPL rulebook but as B McGlauchlin suggests it wouldn't surprise me if under old SPL rulebook they may start the new season without a points penalty in the unlikely event they negotiate a CVA or find a buyer.

    Yes, if they're a newco then they're a new club and its therefore previous successes are not part of their history. Their history begins from when the newco was formed. Although like the rangers they'll probably claim otherwise.
    Good reason to want them to survive since a newco would mean that all of the previous defeats would be history as well. 0-7, 6-2 would not apply to the newco. Don't know if I would like not being able to wave that in the faces of the newco hahahahearts fans

    McLauchlin is blabbering *****. The SPL and draft SPFL rules both state that an insolvency event occurring in the close season results in a points penalty in the following season.

    Technically speaking are the players not assets of the club, therefore the parent company? Are any of them allowed to be sold?

    Realise selling players would make about £40, just wondered if it could potentially be another stumbling block to them raising funds?
