I think they will be next week when they review the levels Councils are placed in.
Ahead of the review I noticed a record number of tests carried out today, just under 30,000.

39,811 cases and 425 deaths registered in Italy today - tragic after what they went through in the first wave.
86,852 cases reported in France today.
Horrific.
Concerns growing that the new strain found on mink farms in Denmark and which has now been spread to humans could potentially undermine the effectiveness of any future vaccines.

Anyone think Edinburgh and the Lothian’s will move tier this week?
West Lothian maybe being the exception.
Nah, I don't think so, purely because West Lothian has higher case numbers and St John's covid wards are at capacity. It has the potential to impact the whole Health Board capacity, for that reason, I think for the time being they will continue taking a cautious approach.
My grandad just died fairly out the blue. He had copd but within a few days he wnet for from fine (for him) to dead
Now that leaves my late 80 year old gran alone in her flat
Leaving her living alone surely isn't the right option so what are we "allowed" to do?
She has her 2 sons fairly close by in Edinburgh but she doesn't drive and obvious with her age isn't the most mobile. So basic essentials become a bit of a task now

This virus has been around for nearly a year now and it’s fairly obvious that with such a vast number of cases reported that a % of those will end up badly sick in hospital and possibly die. Trying to downplay the virus and the impact it has won’t make it go away, it just makes you look like a ****.
They could be and the majority will survive but I'd hazard a a guess that out of 80,000+ cases, quite a significant number of those people will die in the next 3 or 4 weeks.
In a country that's already reporting daily deaths of more than 800 and hospitals nearing capacity, I'd say the number of new cases is horrific.
First of all I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Basically what Santa Cruz has already said but if you already have an extended household in place, you can't change this to another one.
Because of the circumstances, caring for a vulnerable person may trump everything else though and allow you to visit your gran in her home to see that she's alright. In those circumstances it would be irrelevant if you had already formed an extended household, you would be allowed to visit and see that she was ok and carry out any help that was required around the house.
Denmark being Denmark, I’d expect them to have a fairly handy test and trace system in place.
Are the mink wild? If they’re kep captive pre-culling, surely there is minimal risk of them spreading it? I honestly don’t know.
Now we know of the spread between humans and mink, surely that can all be managed as well? Things such as humans wearing heavy duty PPE to prevent spread.
It’s obviously not good news but I don’t see why it must be catastrophic.
It would be worse in this country. We’d have it spread far, wide and totally out of control whilst we debate whether or not the economic damage of culling the mink was worth enduring. What about house prices and the value of our pensions?
