This appears to be very morale boosting for Hearts. They must feel great.
Scottish football is rotten to the core. There are Celtic and Rangers sympathisers in every other club in the league and the OF are untouchable. Exception could be Hearts who seem to have the majority of BBC punters rooting for them. So much for impartiality.
Devlin stumbling in the box
again
I see the diving penalty cheat has been dumped from the squad completely
Would have probably have been too much for the maroon mutants if he had've been on the pitch
In their last four games Dundee United have conceded on average a goal every fifteen minutes.
I was there !
November 1965
We also scored 11 against Alloa in same season in L/Cup

A lot of villa fans pretty unhappy with McGinn recently, performances not been great.
2-2 st j
considine 2-2
St Johnstone look decent the last 10 minutes I have watched. Quite sad that they seem to be able to move the ball far quicker than us
Carey has a very skilful left foot for Saints. More goals in this game
Atkinson now off injured too

Hearts have just made a 4th substitution with a 4th stoppage. I thought the rules meant you could only have 3 stoppages for substitutions?
League looks absolutely brutal again this season. Anyone who strings a few decent months together will get top 6.
Forest 0-1 Spurs. Kane
Nice 0 Marseille 3 FT in the derby. At least 6 current or ex Arsenal players involved!
Penalty Hearts.
3-2 Hearts
Penalty hearts
What a stupid tackle

Forest v Spurs is dreadful so far 🥱

Hearts 3-2 St Johnstone
Oh dear, Drey Wright.
Big, big chance for St Johnstone as a cross falls invitingly for the winger at the back post, but composure deserts him and his effort is miles too high.
The thing about Hearts is they battle. They are not a good side, but they are resilient and will battle for points. I would make them favourites to finish third.
They'll finish third easily, by at least 10 to 15 points. Even if they're not a great side they have a bigger, more adaptable squad than anyone else, with plenty cash coming in via Europe for the next transfer window. A position we should have been in. Instead we'll be circa 30 points behind them on current evidence.
How is that not a red card in a forest game? Kane is heading that in
Is that a misprint? Dundee Utd 0 - 9 Celtic?
I’m beginning to feel a little better about the departure of Jack Ross. What the hell is going on there?
That Richarlson is cheating diving ******* ! Cringeworthy
That goal was coming.
Richarlison showboating then gets emptied for his trouble!
Harry Kane is a glaikit looking and sounding ****, but he's some striker.
Don't think him and Son look anywhere near as sharp as they did last season. From the games I've seen Spurs haven't even been that good, 10 points though including 7 points from fixtures they lost last season. Another game they lost last season in West Ham away on Wednesday.
Jack Ross and Gerrard to be back on punditry within the next week surely
I'm watching Real Madrid, it's like watching Hibs.
Had a 10er on RM @ 3s -1 goal at ht, not sure what I watched but, cheers!
Would assume United are sounding out Michael O'Neill
Yes he got us 3rd but the next season was a car crash, he was rightly sacked at the time, the club made a huge mistake hiring Maloney. Ross done well at lower level but has struggled at Sunderland, us the 2nd season and now at Dundee United, he seems tactically inept as we seen getting beat by St Johnstone twice in cups.
When it came down to it he didn't though. Two failed attempts against St Johnstone at Hampden, did we even have a shot on target in the cup final?
Finished 3rd in a season where there were no supporters and every club were crippled financially by the pandemic. That season saw the decline of Aberdeen begin and Hearts not in the league, who battered us a week or two before the football shut down and then beat us after hardly playing a game for 7 months in the semi final.
We qualified for Europe and got slapped about in Croatia. Then we saw the beginning of the end for Ross, 4 points from a possible 27 in his last 9 games. He was leading us into a relegation battle and that was with both Boyle and Nisbet available. Come January when Boyle would have left, who was the only spark we had those few months, it would have got messy.
Sacking him was absolutely the right thing to do. I think that is being backed up with his Dundee Utd form even after the money they have put towards new signings this summer. 5 points from his last 13 league games as a manager. Due another sack and I doubt he will get another top 6 six job in Scotland again. My guess will be following the journey of someone like Paul Hartley, managing in the lower division or somewhere like League 2 in England.
I realise that. That’s what I meant when I said it was a strange sentence. The very idea that St Johnstone were the only thing standing between Jack Ross and an exceptional place in Hibs history is mind boggling. Yet it’s true.
two trophies and a third place finish would have put him on a very high pedestal
