There will still be some daftys who will, that result is at least something to enjoy this weekend.
No matter what you thought of Ross as Hibs manager there was never any threat of any of his Hibs teams capitulating like this in a game.

Not sure what’s going on at Utd but it’s weird. Their win against AZ looked like it was signalling a bright season for them.

Outrageous, that will be Ross away.
Tend to agree but hoping he is still there when we play them in 2 weeks...

The players ought to be ashamed of themselves. Meetings behind the managers back and put up a performance like that.

The manager will carry the can but the players are an embarrassment.
Did meetings behind the manager's back happen here as well, when Collins was manager? There were a lot of rumours about Stewart being the instigator too, whether that's true or not I don't know. We didn't get humped like DU have been though.

It's become untenable. The financial gap allied to the fan gap (the glory hunters, sectarian elements and etc) has finally ground the game to almost meaningless for the rest of the clubs.
I said that to guys in the pub about 10 mins before you posted it, who in their right mind as a non ST holder is going to pony up 30 odd quid as a walk up to see the old firm pump your team when you can see it on the telly? Dangerous times.

I suppose it depends upon how competitive your team might be. If you're a Dundee United fan, you would indeed have to be mad to pay top dollar today, given their form. They look like a pub side.

Please tell me we’re playing Celtic after a difficult away European tie!🙈

Eventually some clubs will (happens already) simply let them take over their grounds for the ticket revenue.

Short gain for long term loss of a real sporting challenge and pride. I had my hair cut yesterday by a bloke from Haddington who couldn't stop talking about Celtic in the forthcoming champions league. His father I know was a Hibby. I didn't ask why he wasn't - I kinda knew anyway as we all do. The question is how do we stop from falling further behind. I used to scoff at a league without them. Now I would go for it.

Let's be honest the gap is only going to get even wider as they establish themselves in The Champions League, 5 subs just makes it even worse too.

So I believe. Just before we played a Scottish Cup semi final v a Dunfermline team, bottom of the league. Guess what happened!

I spoke to Rob Jones about it one year in Majorca. He never denied meeting happened but him as captain should have dealt with it better.

Yes, we might never see a team other than the Old Firm win the league again, assuming they stay in Scottish football. The gap is too wide to bridge, and the occasional victory against them is the best the rest can hope for.

If he hasn’t got a win by the time we play his side then he will be rubbing his hands at getting 3 points from us, it’s the Hibs way.

Then play Ross County, St Mirren, Motherwell etc. It's the football equivalent of bullying.

If they can find somewhere else to play, eventually it wouldn't be a bad thing for the rest. How much worse can it get?

There should be some kind of revenue sharing like in some American sports where the rich teams pay a penalty that’s shared amongst the less affluent clubs (ironically some of those less affluent clubs are probably still owned by billionaires but the point stands). Make the uglies share some of their riches, it could be done.

All other clubs apart from the old firm hold the upper hand in Scotland, the clubs either don’t realise it or are too scared to do anything.

We need to threaten them with breaking away from the old firm and leave the two of them isolated because there is not a hope in hell they will be welcomed into the EPL. They can piss off to the Irish league or somewhere else that would take them.

I’m completely serious here, something drastic needs to be done.

We just drew 2-2 with an arguably better side in Rangers. Anything can happen in a football match. We're also a better side than this shambles going on at United.
