There should be some kind of revenue sharing like in some American sports where the rich teams pay a penalty that’s shared amongst the less affluent clubs (ironically some of those less affluent clubs are probably still owned by billionaires but the point stands). Make the uglies share some of their riches, it could be done.

All other clubs apart from the old firm hold the upper hand in Scotland, the clubs either don’t realise it or are too scared to do anything.

We need to threaten them with breaking away from the old firm and leave the two of them isolated because there is not a hope in hell they will be welcomed into the EPL. They can piss off to the Irish league or somewhere else that would take them.

I’m completely serious here, something drastic needs to be done.
Said it before, UK league with Rantic in the top flight and the rest of us finding our level. Good variety of games, with away fans enticed by a visit to Edinburgh.

This appears to be very morale boosting for Hearts. They must feel great.

Scottish football is rotten to the core. There are Celtic and Rangers sympathisers in every other club in the league and the OF are untouchable. Exception could be Hearts who seem to have the majority of BBC punters rooting for them. So much for impartiality.

I was there. Pouring wet as I recall but it was always tipping down in those days. That's why Edinburgh had so many cinemas. Shelter from the constant rain.

I see the diving penalty cheat has been dumped from the squad completely

Would have probably have been too much for the maroon mutants if he had've been on the pitch

In their last four games Dundee United have conceded on average a goal every fifteen minutes.

i do vaguely remember us clobbering St Johnstone(or even Ayr?) at ER in the next game after the 7-0 tynecastle games, i thought at that time it was going to happen in just about every game :)

I think Stuart Cosgrove was on sportsound yesterday saying something similar. He got a bit muddled in his argument when the old firm fanboys starting shouting him down, he trying to be to intelligent about it.

Me too, you'll be right but I don't recall the rain, even though as you say it always seemed to be raining back then 😆.
