Posting Barnsley you tube videos!!!
He’s going to make history
Best manager the club has had
For those looking in (yams associates who are salivating over their new coach) call him Danny (the coach of the team who failed to pay the lady Haig Poppy fund and macraes battalion. This really hurts them)
He could make history alright

How many screws have to be loose to choose a name like that? "Look at me Lads... I'm really, really hard"
Aye, OK pal!... Don't forget to pick up your cardigan from the cleaners
Sauce& salt a spotty hands down the trackers and spits to look hard
Berra never won the scottish cup with hearts
Did he do a John Terry
So he did i did not know he was an unused sub
Not sure how the huge German flag display sits when you remember this is the football club who singlehandedly defeated the Hun twice in world wars.
It’s comedy gold stuff. They are posting youtube Barnsley wins and this proves is certain to be a success. When was the last time a manager in place for 6 weeks has fans posting videos of his previous club? When one of two suggest we should wait until he has some hearts victories they get shouted down for negativity. Some are even talking about “the last few weeks proves he is transforming the club”. 4 defeats and a heroic draw (which is better than any other wins), zero new players and ditched some of the experienced players. If that’s transformation then they are truly screwed.
I think it is going to be interesting to see how this all falls apart for them. In that thread on 12pointsback there is only one calling as it is, worse than it was with Levein. Given Stewarts injury for Ross County they could get a point or even 3 up there, but it won't be easy, County are good on the counter attack which will hurt them given their lack of pace in the team. I wonder how long, how many more defeats before the penny drops? I wonder, if a right royal humping off the huns will shake any of them? St J away comes next, again not easy when you're at the foot of the table and this one could widen the gap at the bottom. Will it be when Killie take all three points at the gorgie library? I am sure none of them will expect to take a point from Celtc park so they drift to the next foot of the table games against Hamilton and the Paisley saints. This is when I predict their love affair with Jerry Butcher will falter. This is when they will realise they are well and truly buggered. There will of course be some deluded Duncans stick ardently to their proclamation of love to St Endel, but as the gap at the bottom widens 12pointsback should give us all a lot of entertainment over the coming months.
This is the first coherent post ive read on kickback for a while:
I'm sure this will be unpopular, but I'll be 100% behind the whole club when I'm at games, manager, players, Board. On a discussion forum I'll discuss what is going well and what is going badly. At the moment things have not gone well for Daniel. Results have got worse. We have dropped to 12th place. We have squad disharmony going public. There has been little sign of his pressing style working and he seems disinclined to adopt any other style to get a result. The flip side is that it is still very early in his time at Hearts and he could change it around. The reality is that he will have the majority of the same squad at the end of this window as at the start, so he has to get winning performances out of the players he has not just bring in his own team. So far he has only actually got rid of one player, there are no guarantees he will be able to move Berra, Wighton or anyone else on. He absolutely has to avoid relegation. That for me is the be all and end all of the next 6 months. One regular poster wrote on another thread yesterday that they were happy to see us relegated if that allowed Stendel to implement his plans. I thought that was crazy talk, but no one picked him up on it. I'm behind the club and Stendel, but the idea that things are going really well seems to me to be a mass delusion.
I have a theory that Stendel is sabotaging Hearts from the inside in revenge for the club singlehandedly defeating Germany in the First World War.
Stendel is one picture on top of arthur seat away from going full butcher
The absolute faith shown by the muppets in their Messiah (:faf:) is incredible. He has done nothing on the park yet, except for a home draw against Aberdeen, yet, to a man they are blindly backing him to the hilt on the supposed and debatable improvement he has made and in his getting rid of senior players. Until the sacking of Levein and McPhee, the likes of Berra and Whelan were the undisputed backbone of their struggling team and even after their sacking were still regarded as ever presents. Enter Strudel, the cull begins and is widely applauded by everyone and the cull victims are ripped to shreds on their KB forum by their erstwhile devotees. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would like to think that, in similar circumstances, we would welcome a new regime but err on the realistic side of caution before pledging blind faith and total confidence. I hope Strudel falls flat on his erchie.
I'm not so sure he didn't get one, if he didn't it must be because his contract had a break clause. There's no way he just was sent a contract to sign that said he was getting laid off without payment and he just signed it, particularly when you read how bitter he is. They've either paid him what he was due or there was a clause saying they could cancel it after 6 months if they wished for X amount.
I know its the Daily Record, but there's a transcript of a discussion Whelan had on TalkSport this morning:
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...mbles-21246179
Quote:
Simon Jordan: "Glenn, you must know what the motivation is? You must have an inkling? Is it because you're the highest paid player there? Because the owner doesn't like you?"
Glenn Whelan: "That's what I mean and that's why I'm talking up. I've had no contact with the owner."
SJ: "You're going to get paid, you have a year's contract with Hearts, they're going to pay you?"
GW: "No, it was a terminated contract."
SJ: "They can't just terminate a contract without a reason."
GW: "They asked me to cancel the contract."
SJ: "But you don't have to Glenn, you've got the PFA sitting on one side of the fence saying to you - under no circumstances will you be cancelling your contract, you've done nothing wrong.
"You're entitled. You've signed a contract with Hearts - they're stuck with you, you're stuck with them.
"You wouldn't be giving up your contact, surely? You haven't done anything wrong."
GW: "I've not done anything wrong but it just got to a stage where that's where they wanted to go. I wasn't in it for the money.
"I wasn't up there just to get paid, I wanted to play, keep playing at the highest level."
SJ: "Glenn, it's a point of principle. If you're going to come out and defend yourself, as you are, and you're entitled to do so.
"Surely, by the same token, if you wanted to leave and the club didn't want you to leave, you couldn't leave.
"If you said to Hearts: 'I want to leave', and Hearts said no, you wouldn't have the option to cancel your contract you'd have to bleeding well get on with it.
"I'm curious to see why. If this behaviour meted out to you, and I'm not suggesting it's right or wrong I'm just reacting to the circumstances and saying if we put the money to one side, there's a point of principle.
"And I know when you die your principles die with you, but you're a professional footballer and you full well know the value of a contract. And your representatives and the PFA know the value of a contract.
"You can't have football clubs running around cancelling contracts when they feel like it."
GW: "What I'm saying, after the game on Boxing Day I wasn't in the squad, then I wasn't in the squad against Aberdeen , and-
SJ: "That's fine Glenn but you get paid. If they want you to go then their obligation is to pay you, whether that's right or wrong it cuts both ways.
"As a former owner, I had a Scottish player, Jamie Fullarton, and I didn't like him, neither did the manager.
"I got rid of him, but I had to pay him.
"What I'm trying to understand is how this is manifested itself. Hearts' run of form is pretty dreadful right now so the whole place is probably not in the greatest of order, but that doesn't mean one particular player should be meted.
"I'm trying to understand why Glenn, an experienced player, would take this and take a contract that is clearly his right and turn round and say: 'I'm just going to walk away I'm being treated abominably.'"
GW: "That's what I'm saying, it wasn't a case of digging my heels in and wanting the contract paid up. If I wasn't there to play or train then why be there?
"It was a case of I'll go one way, you go the other, we'll shake hands and that's it. But it wasn't that.
"I got an email from the secretary of the club basically saying would I sign the contract for termination to become a free agent.
"That's what I did, I wasn't there for money. I was there to play and try and prove things."
Simon Jordan, ex Chairman / owner Crystal Palace FC. Colourful character. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Jordan
I cant imagine this will be helping Hearts bring players in going forward. The way that club is run is absolutely without any scruples or standards. If I was an agent I wouldn't let a player go there for any money...it isn't worth the complications.

There is a meeting going on now between Stendel and Murray. Most of Stendel's first choices seemed to have said no for one reason or another.

If he really did walk away from the contract it's a big help to Hearts bearing in mind how skint they are. They should be thanking him for doing so, not brushing him off with an email. His treatment by Stendel seems extremely shabby and he's right to call the club out as 'amateurish'. He certainly walks away looking like the more professional party here.
I would end myself laughing if Ian Murray's Airdrie knocked them out the cup, and I think they will.
Stendel invites more senior players into new office for talks.

Not surprised at that. They are on a bad run of form, are 5 points adrift at the bottom and have a difficult run of matches coming up which could see them further adrift. There's a good chance they'll be relegated so it isn't exactly appealing to any potential signings. Who wants a relegation on their CV? Add in the Berra and Whelan news stories which aren't exactly painting Hearts in a positive light.
Can't imagine many players of the standard they need/are after that have a club at the moment, would want to leave where they are to join the HMFC (Hearts Massive F***ing Cluster***k). You'd have to be desperate to go there. :faf:
Hearts finally find somebody who will join:

12 days until they play Ross County in what is their biggest game in years and no sign of any new signings and 6 players told they are no longer wanted. Stendel appears to be doing a fantastic job.

Wonder if the 6 players will get a second chance if they sign no one.
Do Berra, Wigton, Mulraney, Uche, MacLean and the other now just sit it out until they find new clubs, sit it out or doesDanny boy still play them if they are short on numbers.
Excellent job imho!

We're now on page 7-0 of this comedy.
The players took a break today to visit a local orphanage.
“It was absolutely heartbreaking to see the look of despair and hopelessness in their eyes” said Sally, aged six.
Some of the inmates at Saughton Prison were given a tour of Tynecastle yesterday on the prisons annual "things could be worse" tour.

Levien still very much involved.

I'm probably a peg selling hobo here, but do excerpts of that not read like, between the lines, she thinks that some member of the physio or sports science department at Hearts is, or has been, feeding her a crock of ***** and might not, in her opinion, have been doing their job to 100%?
For an IT person she always seems rather focussed on getting a single person to tell her what is happening for specific areas. This appears to inevitably involve more cost and complexity, as well of course a reliance on that person knowing what they are talking about!
It’s like she has never heard of system and process refinement to make sure you get good outcomes. To me it sounds like they have plenty of medical staff but simply don’t have them structured correctly.
Anyhoo yet again she comes across as well meaning but absolutely clueless.
St endel looking to sign 5 players this window including 2 currently playing at Barnsley. From bbc gossip
Barnsley duo Mamadou Thiam and Jordan Green have been targeted by Hearts as Daniel Stendel looks to make his first signings at Tynecastle. (Daily Record)
Hearts are targeting five new arrivals before the end of the month as manager Daniel Stendel strives to reinforce his squad. (Edinburgh Evening News)
Given the 6 he’s ‘released’ it’ll be interesting to see how many he will get in. Can’t imagine two players with contracts in the championship will come cheap or will come up here at all.
All of which will cost cash up front. They may well save money on wages (but this isn’t guaranteed if players don’t move on) but they’ll need a good cash injection to get these players in. Also being rooted to the bottom of the Scottish Premiership cannae be an attractive option for a Championship or Bundeslega (sp) player
"2018-19 was another successful year and we got off to a fantastic start"
Craig Levein is helping her find tge right people in each department who will tell her the truth.
They are making the Trump regime look almost sane. This comedy show is running and running.
I genuinely feel Hearts should concentrate on rebuilding in the Championship next season. Would give them a chance to revamp the squad with far less competition involved and win most weeks under Stendels new style. They'd probably come back stronger. He has a promotion on his record already so maybe the Hearts board had one eye on that
The two Barnsley lads haven’t played any football in months and would take a good while to get up to the speed of Scottish football. Hearts don’t have time.
Similar could be said of this 19 year old German prospect, he might be a good talent but Scottish football has swallowed up and spat out many a lightweight talented youngster that isn’t prepared for this kind of game. I’d also guess he’s not played much first team football recently.
Jerry Butcher seems to be trying to make the wholesales changes that should be made in the summer, not in January.
To be fair their form improved no end since he left so since Hearts took him off their hands and gave him somewhere else to continue his long winless run maybe Barnsley should at least offer to form one of those weird yam special relationship things.

According to someone at Hearts (I know!) his first 3 requests were knocked back by the players instantly.
