Stewart is like that in general. Once he gets something in to his head, he repeats it and repeats it and repeats it. He did a bit on Sportscene a couple of weeks ago about Miller being poor (he has a point) so once he came on he’d always be likely to criticise.

For that you need a no nonsense owner and board that will back the manager to the hilt. Sacking a manager will always be the easy option to take pressure (albeit temporarily) off the club leadership and the players know that.

Someone said to me that was David Gray realising he was out his depth and not emotional, the question about the Cadden subs seemed to throw him and the realisation that he is not up to the job hit him,he really struggled in that interview.
