We pass it about the back and then it gets launched forward where our strikers have zero presence.

Youan is more than frustrating but he’s one of the only players that looks like scoring or creating.

I don’t want to be too harsh on Maolida as it’s a much higher standard to what he’s played lately but he needs to be better and sharper.

Newell has won the ball a few times and sprayed it about. Nothing fancy. Levitt has done next to nout. Jair hasn't seen the ball much but has been positive. Obita probably our best player followed by Marshall.

Newell certainly is the only one capable of keeping the ball but I also think he is a big part in how poor we are due to how slow he is in possession. Yeah we needed to have 3 in midfield. Jeggo in there would make life much more difficult for them instead of the acres of space at the edge of our box

Newell certainly is the only one capable of keeping the ball but I also think he is a big part in how poor we are due to how slow he is in possession. There is zero urgency, not just from him before folk pile on but joe most likely touches the ball more than any of our players bar Fish and Marshall.

Seems some on here like a flair players doing tricks, but that won't cut much ice in the SPFL.

When you build a team you start with a soild, reliable defence to make you hard to beat. Then add some flair.

Hibs are trying to do this the other way round.

Yup. It just doesn't work with the players we've got. Shore up the midfield with an additional body to close the gaps and reduce the space we're giving them. I've never seen us take advantage of having two up top and we're giving up far more than we gain by playing 4-4-2.

Megwa had a couple of scary moments early on, Fish and Obita have been solid and Stevenon is Stevenson.

Every problem we have is down to being outnumbered in the middle of the park, and midfielders not going with their runners.

His stats for winning tackles are very low - in the air even worse. Rarely wins a header.

He’s had 1 assist all season and no goals - he rarely even has a shot on target.
