obviously the goalkeeping coach and Ross have seen enough quality in Macey to suggest hes not the backup keeper anymore.

While Macey has my full support, I disagree. I don’t think he could have done anything with Motherwell’s first, I didn’t like his positioning for the second and thought he was hesitant.

Ross committed to Macey being the cup keeper, he obviously trusts him. We’ve given him a 2 year contract which likely makes him number one next year. It’s up to Macey to step up as Ross and the club have done their bit.

I think it's daft to knowingly weaken the side, we would be going mad if David Gray was picked before McGinn, or Drey Wright before Boyle.

We all want Macey to either play well, or have sod all to do, but i personally think we are not going with our best keeper in our biggest game so far this season.
