What balanced view? We were not good tonight and people like you accepting performances like that is part of the reason we are where we are. And no one is ‘shouting and bawling in a red pussed rage’ simmer.

My balanced view, that's what.

Everything isn't black or white.

We didn't create much tonight, but Rangers have only conceded 7 goals in the league this season, almost 30% of them against us.

Big plus points from me were the performances of Cadden & Daz.

The new boys got more game time, as did Scott Allan.

We lost a bad goal defensively, but it was scored by someone who should have been sent off after 10 minutes.

We weren't brilliant but Rangers had to be on form to leave with the 3 points. We certainly gave as good as we got.

Now calm down and stop boring everyone with your depressing negative nonsense.

I reckon if Morelos had been sent off they'd have still beaten us, possibly even by more as it would have drawn us out more - and we would be about 1000 times more pissed off than we are.

Would have been nice to test that theory.

It was catch 22 a bit, open up early and Likely they will pick you off

We really contained them chances wise most of the game

I said it earlier, Aberdeen are rarely out of a game and we hung in and almost snatched it with boyles cross that helander defended brilliantly

Its all about perspective for me.... If we continue to play the same containment game against everyone in the league I won't be cheering it

We were playing a vastly superior rangers side when we must've been low on confidence given our form

Taking all that into account it was a decent showing

Couldve been better if Clancy done his job though

Really? I thought Morelos could have had a hat trick tonight. Missed a sitter and had a great chance going clean through when Porto played him on and took too long to shoot. As soon as he got away without the red card we knew what was going to happen unfortunately!

Need to be winning on Saturday. Dundee Utd not won in six and just been gubbed tonight. I'd go similar team to tonight, Hanlon in for Porteous

I think most fans expectations were we were ripe for a pumping

Would be happy with that performance against Hamilton at home? No

We done OK tonight IMHO. I suspect we showed up far better than most people expected

I thought we’d get pumped tonight, I’m glad we didn’t.

I find it hard to take the positives out of a defeat where we never looked like creating anything, especially after the performance at the weekend.

I called cadden the invisible man, he wasn’t so invisible tonight. Again I’m happy to be proved wrong on my initial statement. Hopefully he will kick on more.

I hate getting beat, doesn’t matter if it’s rangers, Real Madrid or Stranraer (first game in the first devision was a killer)

Ross seams quite uninspiring but then I thought that about Mowbray and he has been my favourite hibs manager, we also played our best and most consistently best football under him, 4-4 with Dundee was a game we didn’t win but you could get excited about.

I thought there was one in the second half that sums up why we can hardly score a goal just now.

Ball in from Irvine where I thought Doidge was on his heels. It was pretty similar to where he scored from the last time we played them there. That time he was bursting a gut to get on the end of it and putting, the ball, the centre half and anything else in his way, in to the net as well if need be.

I just think we look really timid in the final third as much as anything.
Just seems to be a general lack of confidence running through the team leading to bad decision making and probably stuff like you mention above.
Hopefully we get through it soon.

Believe it or not it’s a forum to post personal opinions on the game, I’ve gave mine if you don’t like it don’t reply? Simple kid.

Infact we probably had as many clear cut chances as they did

Need a win on Saturday now

On what planet would they have beaten us by more when playing 75 mins with 10. :greengrin

Worst we would have got was a draw

We've been missing chances all season-disappointing. Much worse were the two corners taken by Hallberg-one leading to Doig's booking-criminal that we regularly mess these up-coaches must get a grip of it.

Ross put out a very competetive team tonight.

Competed well good performances especially by Cadden and McGregor

Cadden looks an asset.McGregor's performance was a tribute to his fitness and attitude.

It’s a fair point. Be curious to see the stats and conversion rate.

We went through a spell of looking dangerous at set pieces.

Now we usually have poor delivery or give away cheap fouls.

Celtic away last set piece goal ?

Doesn’t help we keep changing corner taker..Newell - Hallberg - Boyle etc

Cadden and Irvine will improve us but we still need more energy in midfield.

Gogic and Hallberg do ok at times but still feel we need someone who gets about the pitch quicker. Guess still missing how SJM used to play and get in opponents faces constantly.

Probably not easy to find but feel along with another CB for competition would really improve us.

I don't really rate Hallberg's set pieces, whereas I think Newell's are often excellent.

There were a lot of big laddies in our team tonight, you'd expect us to carry quite a threat from them going forward.

I'm a bit disappointed with our general creativity in open play though - it's hard at times to see where the goal is going to come from.

In the last month we've played 8 games and scored 3 goals, no goals scored in 6 of those matches.

That's a serious drought in creativity, we're really struggling at the minute. At least we looked a bit more solid tonight but we said that a month ago against rangers then got pumped off Ross country and Livi the week after.

Camden was good, Irvine was good,

It's a shame Lochaber's no more.

What is it about kicking the ball against the nearest defender that you don't rate?
