Just my opinion but thats what the passport decision for Hibs first members effectively done. Then a few days later ST’s not being asked for passport info. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Details also being passed to Midtjylland as well, I think it’s down to them / the Danish authorities.

Passport check & local collection is a well adopted system for European games, at club & international level too.
The ST holders not being asked for details is a Ticketmaster mess up. But the system, as it was intended, is fine & standard.

Hibs First is supposed to be monitored to ensure people on the scheme are actually buying away tickets and if they aren’t they are disqualified. It’s not being done. You don’t even have to attend games to go on the waiting list , just add your name and be willing to pay for priority. Away teams selling directly to Hibs fans is not an insurmountable problem in getting a loyalty scheme going, with the technology available now it could be done. Just takes willing from the club.Every gimmick hungry yob,

Personally I wouldn't miss an away European trip for anything but it is out of a few people's finances.

My thinking is that Hibs have facilitated the sales so they can be allocated to the priority groups but Midtjylland are responsible for, or have conditions around, the distribution.

I'd like to give my ticket to my mate travelling with us, a season ticket holder who missed out today. I'll obviously be able to pick the ticket up, but would I then be able to give it to him so he can use at the ground instead of me.Looks like there was checks of some sort on Rangers fans going into the ground back in 2019 - https://x.com/fcmidtjylland/status/1...ipes-strips%2F

No criticism but I expected more based on following Scotland games and the take up rates of those at the top of the ladder.

I don’t see the issue here. Unless they are Danish, every person going as a Hibs supporter must have a passport to travel. What’s the problem with using it as ID for the ticket?Last edited by CentreLine; Yesterday at 09:49 PM.

Are you supposed to carry photo ID with you at all times in Denmark like you do in most of Europe? We don't have ID cards in the UK which is why it's your passport that your supposed to have.
Nothing to do with Hibs or UEFA if it's Danish law.Last edited by DH1875; Yesterday at 10:06 PM.

Midtjylland tie
I assume the problem with the passport rule is that it makes all tickets non transferable?
Seems a bit daft if people are saying “how can they expect us to have passports?”
Er cos you kinda have to have one to get there.
