It's not a UEFA requirement but it has happened for a good amount of Hibs games in Europe over the last couple of years, not all. It happens for Scotland away games and for a lot of club teams playing in major UEFA competitions. Usually to prevent resale of tickets and people buying a ticket to maintain loyalty points, but not going, from what I've read elsewhere & from Tartan Army travellers. I think local authorities and clubs can insist on it too.

The fact Hibs have stated that the information is being passed to Midtjylland suggests it’s not all a Hibs thing.

My thinking is that Hibs have facilitated the sales so they can be allocated to the priority groups but Midtjylland are responsible for, or have conditions around, the distribution.
I'd like to know if we just need ID for the pick up or will it also be needed for entry into the ground.

I'd like to give my ticket to my mate travelling with us, a season ticket holder who missed out today. I'll obviously be able to pick the ticket up, but would I then be able to give it to him so he can use at the ground instead of me. Looks like there was checks of some sort on Rangers fans going into the ground back in 2019 - https://x.com/fcmidtjylland/status/1...ipes-strips%2F
