Currently in Oregano on Leith Walk, their pizzas are still top notch.

Origano pizzas are absolutely excellent. Lovely restaurant as well.

Went a couple of weeks ago. The lasagne was poor, very dry. Pizzas looked tremendous though to be fair. Will give it another go and definitely have a pizza next time.

Try San Ciros just down from Oregano, they are on par if not better imo
I've just had their fried seafood starter and anchovy pizza and it was very good.

The Butchershop in Glasgow on Sunday evening. Delicious steak, red wine and brilliant service.

Was there for the first time before the Peterhead game and couldn't recommend it enough. Good bit cheaper than Origano as well

Has anyone been to The Ivy? Apologies if it's already been discussed.

Wife has booked the Glasgow one for a night out

Anyone got a good suggestion for breakfast in Edinburgh where I can park nearby? Tried Dishoom but they’re fully booked which is annoying as I love a breakfast there.

Ivy is pretty decent. Arancini and salted sourdough are great starters. The chocolate bomb is really well presented.

Think Chaophraya we’re going to start breakfasts. Maybe worth checking.

I was in Orocco Pier tonight. Food was really nice, but they brought a chicken burger to a vegetarian then by the time they’d sorted out the veggie burger, the other 4 of us had finished our food. They also took a drinks order and forgot about it.

A shame because the food was good, and the staff generally really friendly,

Sounds very tasty, I'm partial to a wee poached egg or two.

What's the story there - do Vittoria's own that or have they just sold off part of their premises?

Vittorias still own it, just remodelled the site and moved the Vittoria restaurant to the Brunswick Road side into what was know as the party room

Cafe Andaluz in Stockbridge tonight for my birthday. Six of us went and ordered four dishes each, pretty decent and better than I expected. I would definitely return.

Went to a Greek restaurant called Agora at Borough Market in London at the weekend. Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in years.
