Really enjoyed today and amazing to see so many great players for us.

Scott Brown could and would still get a game for us in midfield, great to see him back in a Hibs shirt again.

He wouldn't. Otherwise he'd still be playing. He was competing at a snails pace against guys who haven't played in years.

Yep, he could probably play for a lower league team (below Scottish Championship) but no higher. I thought it was fairly obvious that Fyvie is the only one still playing at a decent level.

Is there a way to donate a sum of money to SDG for those unable to attend today that would have if they could?

Just back, really enjoyed it. It was a semi competitive kick about and the players looked like they enjoyed it. I wished another 2 or 3 thousand were there to enjoy it. There was a nice reception for SDG at the end with a sunshine on leith. All good for £10 imo.
Nice wee summary on the EEN website

Nice words from SDG. I had no idea his last game for us was in an empty stadium. I'm more pleased now that I went, knowing that.

Glad I went along this afternoon. I had bought a ticket a couple of weeks ago and had a covid jab appointment soon after the game finished, so considered giving the match a miss - thankfully I made it to both.
Wouldn't have felt right not to be there for the great man today.

Great day out that, thoroughly enjoyed SDG’s goal.

The kids did alright until after half time when they got a wee tour around the West and they were quite wriggly after that.

Good day out. I went to the pub afterwards and couldn’t believe the guy who sat next to me saying he thought it was the worst game of football he’d ever been to and couldn’t believe he had wasted his time going. Not quite sure what he was expecting.

When they announced the game, i thought that SDG’s last game had come without us really realising so we never actually got a proper chance to give him that recognition.

Made sure i was there today for that very reason, and I’m glad i went - the game was exactly as you’d have expected, but it was great to see Daz, Marvin, Fyvie, Brown, Whittaker, etc as well as the man himself.

Spent a lot of the time trying to figure out who the Man U players were, and was impressed with Montgomery’s stint when he came on.

He should have, was good fun and a hole in one achieved by my daughter who is 4! Happy with my choice today, and glad others enjoyed David Grays day as well.

Saw Matty F at crazy golf, he was saying the escape rooms were fully booked. (of course only a small joke Matty 😀)

A fairly entertaining game. I like these occasions as there’s no stress at all, not like watching the first team!

Anyways, Sir David is one of my all time favourite Hibs players. Leader and legend.

Glad he got the recognition he fully deserves.

For me Fraser Fyvie was one of the lynchpins of the 2016 team and he reminded me today at times why I thought that.

Went along and thoroughly enjoyed it. Found myself telling my 4yr old grandson that Rocky and Newell were on their holidays which was fine until Monty came on and he asked why the boss was there and not on his holidays and why was he on the pitch. It suddenly became hard work

He should of played with us for a few more seasons but his fall out with Lennon put an end to that.

I've often said this....Stokes quite rightly got MOTM at the final but Fyvie was outstanding that day.

A great occasion for a man that is down in the history books as the scorer of our most important goal of the modern football era.

Even better than we ended up in Le Monde later on and got to meet most of those that played. Sore heid today right enough.

Did he not hum and haw about signing a new deal with us? To be fair to Lennon I think he wanted players committed to Hibs at the time.

And NL refused to put the original offer back on the table.
