They’ve agreed a fee with Wolfsburg for a striker apparently

The striker in question is a 19 year old called Herrmann, who is p1ssed off that he can't get a game for Wolfsburg Reserves in the Regionalliga Nord (a German Fourth Tier league).

He hasn't played a game for Wolfburg's first team but has played a few times for Germany's U-19s.

It can just be packaged up as "cluster****".

Consensus seems to be that Budge hasnae got a scoobie, Levein is still deeply involved, Stendel sounds like a crap man manager.

Funniest bit was M Stewart claiming that Levein was punting Berra to other managers this week Jon Daly sounds like a spoon

I get the feeling that Michael Stewart doesn't like Hearts.

I think he is ambivalent to the team, doesnt like Levein.

Seems to be quite pro Hibs though I imagine if John Collins was our manager that would change

Seems a decent guy though, I had a wee chat a while back in a coffee shop - was happy to talk football (and very keen to talk Hibs).

Sportsound is an absolute hoot just now talking about Hearts
Daly is an absolute nugget. Mickey Stewart pushing all his buttons and getting the expected bunker fever induced responses...especially over the number of signings. He also admitted the structure went out the window when Neilson was driven out. Wanted a square go when Mikey implied as fact that Cathro had no say on the signings. Very defensive snd cagey

Confirmed that Levein’s role is not just medical oversight as per recent media story. He is trying to get Berra to another club.

John Daly trying to defend Hearts, Levein and Budge but getting a rough time from M Stewart who sounds as though he’s loving what’s going on!

Stendel getting accused of not being man enough to deal with Berra face to face. Daly saying Berra should not have given that interview. M Stewart defending Berra for giving the interview. Stendel also getting questioned about his overall man management on getting rid of players before he brings in the ones he wants.

I've actually met Stewart, and even had my photo taken with him for an article in the Evening News...

Does it beat discussing the merit of different muffins with Sir William Connolly in the Traverse Theatre bar? #askinforafriend

Liam Lindsay starting for Stoke again today, think that’s the third game in a row.

Got to think it’s unlikely he’ll be moving to Hearts now?

I’ve always liked listening to Michael Stewart talk about what’s going on at Hibs.

He’s never slow to put the boot in when we deserve it, he’s never slow to praise us when we deserve it.

There’s never an agenda, it’s normally insightful and accurate and generally interesting without the need to be sensationalist.

He grew up a Hearts fan and I’m sure he’ll be happy enough to praise them when they merit it. He does seem to be relishing the current shambles though - it gives him plenty to talk about.

I’ve just listened to a recording of Sportsound but they didn’t introduce the pundits. I recognised Michael Stewart and Jon Daly but who was the guy ‘Daryl’ and the anchor man? It was a good wee listen.

The narrative when Stendel joined Hearts was he was hard done by at Barnsley after losing 10 games on the bounce. However, they appear to have picked up under the new manager.

Jon Daly saying the players weren’t understanding some of the training.

I’d be amazed if this ends well for Hearts.

Predictably Kickback slating Daly..what they see in Stendel I've no idea. More and more he is coming across as a complete charlatan. I agree this is going to end in a shambolic early exit or relegation if they stick with him.

Tbf they’ve got to back him, they don’t have a choice.

They’ve basically got to shut their eyes, cross their fingers and cling onto any positives they can find.

I think he just tells it as it is tbh. Some people don’t like that, I have no problem with him or Thommo.

    The generic Hearts thread

I heard a funny comment from a Jambo this morning “aye, Berra still has 18 months on his contract....... he’ll be at hearts longer than Stendel will be”
And I thought to myself, yes, probably
