Nice to see the Yams included as cheats though.

Yep, its the first bit of acknowledgement that the Yams were no different from Rangers when it came to tax fraud, competitive advantage, and improperly registered players.

Something about petitions tomorrow as well ... must admit that I have no idea what they might be - I thought the next court date was 9th Dec when Ashley went after King.

So the Rangers that have said via Waghorn and Warburton that Hibs need to worry about their own club, have ANOTHER dig at Hibs. The media are really pushing this rivalry now eh

For a side, that respectively, doesn't want to talk about any other team but The Rangers, they seem to do an awful lot of talking about every team but The Rangers, with respect...
...are we even surprised? We are going about our business in a nice, steady and professional manner only to be subjected to constant speculation about our players, managers supposed 'war of words' to blatant goading by a nobody in the papers. These stories are hiding the true headlines regarding court cases and the board room tug of war that really should be reported but as long as it sells papers, eh?
They are absolutely cacking themselves and I think the cracks are beginning to show.

To be honest I'm fine with The Rangers speaking about us. Shows that we're doing something right and rattling them. Would be more worried if we weren't getting at them. We just need to do out talking on the pitch

The fact that we will reduce the gap to 2 pts this evening has nothing to do with this....nothing at all....nope....doesn't bother them one little bit.....because they've already won the league. They were putting up the bunting a month ago

Now don't get me wrong - it would be ****ing hilarious to sit back with some popcorn and watch the explosion of rage from Ibrokes and the accompanying commentary if they were stripped of some titles - but could someone explain something to me.
We know other teams such as Arsenal used EBTs.
Arsenal, being a big club, paid the taxman when he said "Oi!".
Rangers didn't and then realised why we put quotes round "big club" in their case as the taxman wiped them from existance.
That said, presumably both Arsenal and Rangers gained a sporting advantage by using EBTs and the fact that one paid it back (presumably after the fact) doesn't change that.

Can't deny he is a threat going forward and at deadball situations though.

Gray I've been generally happy with but I thought he was caught out with a ball inside him a few times against Rangers. I thought we looked quite shaky down the right in that game tbh.
Tavernier looks hopeless defensively and it was him who lost Hanlon for the winner in that game. Superb going forward (when not up against Lewis Stevenson) and superb at set pieces though, as you say.
Not sure I like the tone of the article either. I think the time has come for us to "do our talking on the park" and not getting involved in tit for tat nonsense in the papers. I've grown to hate Hibs players waffling too much in the papers in recent years whilst not doing it where it matters. The press are unlikely to do us any favours when it comes to that stuff. Better off not getting involved.Last edited by Smartie; 17-11-2015 at 12:17 PM.
