You know, thinking about this, if clubs that can't budget properly and live within their means slip out of existence in the next few years, then so be it. For too long, led by Sevco and the Yams, Scottish Football has been living beyond it's means. This couldn't and shouldn't go on forever. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. We need to get back to community focussed clubs, rearing young Scottish talent and living within strict financial controls.
It needs to get back to being a sporting competition, where the clubs that budget well, bring in more fans from the local area and coach excellent young players are the ones that prosper and win, not the ones that look for a sugar daddy on steroids all the time.

As the directors got their application first I would still expect KPMG to be appointed, unless the Lithuanians can find some valid reason for that not to be the case.Last edited by Part/Time Supporter; 18-06-2013 at 12:36 PM.

Quantum Holdings SA is owned and run by Vlad's niece Julja Gonarcuk (or something similar) and owns 15% of the remaining HoMFC share capital. She resigned from the board of UBIG just after Ukio went bust (as did Sergej Fedupothis) and resigned from the board of HoMFC a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't see the program - better things to do with my life - but I assume that as well as looking tired he was emotional as well?

The way to resurrect Scottish football is for the clubs to begin to work together to provide adequate finance to support all the teams - a league's only as strong as its weakest members, something the North American sports leagues understand very well.
All clubs working within their means, and the League and FA taking steps to ensure that they do, is essential.
Proper concern for the paying customers would help - we're not just a cash crop to be exploited.
And a serious effort to get rid of the atmosphere of hated and antagonism that blights the game - racist, sectarian, homophobic, mindless hatred. It's supposed to be a game, entertainment, not uncivil war.

Shown up as having absolutely no clue whatsoever, Alan Patullo and others step in to do the actual reporting on the Hearts story, while #allisbarry invites sympathy for the fans...

“That’s the annoying thing, they seem to have been lying to us. We always suspected things, but we had to believe them because we were kind of powerless as supporters. We were wholly owned by Romanov, his banks oversaw everything so there wasn’t a bank putting pressure on. We had to take them at their word and, if they haven’t been lying, they certainly weren’t telling the whole truth."
The events at Hearts over the last decade have been played out in public and you can't rewrite them now.

Hibs future lies in it's own hands, and is not dependant on ANY other club.

They have no idea how to turn this into a funded bid. Think we can forget about them as a bidder.

Add the costs required to overcome the neglect of the ground and the financial problems facing anyone taking over are considerable. If they survive at all it'll be a long time till they'll have the money to be back near the top.

Just heard Leslie Deans on Forth One news say that the 15 point deduction isn't guaranteed, as the new rules haven't been finalised yet.

The thing that really makes me laugh about last nights circus with the biggest clown McPherson going on about hearts being the 3rd biggest club, and an institution.
Was he cant get it into his head their over spending and fraudulent actions over the last 30 years has given them these bigger crowds and little bits off success.
What a ****ing fandango that man is, perhaps if we'd have done the same he'd still be saying it, but it wouldn't make it right.
