I was buying a new helmet yesterday in a local bike shop and noticed ratboy had his name on a few. Always thought he was a helmet!

Maybe they could make a few to protect the yams from falling stand debris
The most satisfying news coming out of Tynecastle just now is the fact that there is no news. If they had anything positive to announce they would be screaming it from the roof tops. The more time that passes without any news the nearer they are to the big L. Silence is golden.
Such a bizarre reaction to your very reasonable and temperate post on Kickback. It's so strange how they seem to see you as some dark fantasist for simply repeating what BDO have been saying -if they really care to listen to what's beyond the soundbites - from day one.
1. We have a finite amount of time to expedite the CVA.
2. It is enormously complicated due to 'the paperwork' of those inefficient East Europeans (as KB describe it) or 'the massive multi-national fraud investigation resulting in frozen assets' (as we call it) and it is clearly going to take some time.
3. Each day there is no news is bad news; as there needs to be a timetable for action, otherwise liquidation will inevtiably follow.
Jackson and BDO have obviously put a spin on this and probably are trying as much as they can to influence events, but the matter is really out of their hands.
It just seems to be (understandably, I have a few in my family) very hurtful and painful for Hearts fans to grasp these simple truths and they are lashing out to shoot the messenger.
I think a nice post from Gasman telling them all is going to be well will happen over the next few days. In fact I'm absolutely sure of it.
Sitting here with my acoustic guitar, playing some Bob Dylan, having great fun.
Here's a new version of 'The Times They Are a Changin'.
If you have an acoustic guitar and are semi competent, give it a go - great fun!
Gather 'round jambos
Wherever you roam
And admit that the finances
Around you have blown
And accept it that you’re
being fleeced to the bone
If your money to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start prayin
As you sink like a stone
For the shares they are a-frozen
Come journos like Barry
Who prophesize with your pen
Keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
Don't speak too soon
The court case is in spin
And there's no tellin' who
They’ll be namin'
For Yam losers now
Will be later Lowland
For the shares they, they are a-frozen'
Come MP’s, Councillors
Please heed the call
For the FOH pledges
Are worth sweet **** all
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has cheated
the tax man and charties
are a ragin
They’ll be selling of Tynie
to make asbestos flats
For the shares they are a-frozen'
Come football supporters
Throughout the land
Laugh at those poor Yams
Who just don’t understand
Your financial peril
is beyond your command
the old stand is
Rapidly aging
Just cancel those debits
Cause you can't lend a hand
For your shares they are a-frozen
But the Lowland ain’t bad
And Almondvale’s fine
And you’ll have Gary Locke still
To keep you in line
The Golden shower generation
Will piss to that flag
The CVA is
Rapidly fadin'
And the first liquidation
Will later be last
For the shares they are a-frozen'
Levein will be appointed in the Summer but is already planning ahead in terms of who to keep and who to let go, he will have a very good budget, the 3rd biggest in Scottish Football despite the drop in leagues, i'm sure this time next season we will be the best run club in Scottish football.

If anyone wants to risk their laptop and post on kickback, they could refer their posters to Clause 11 in the BDO interim statement released in January .
" Alternatively in the event that the CVA proposal does not come into effect the Administrators would require to place the company into Liquidation ".
Now why would anyone waste time printing that if it is all a foregone conclusion ? :greengrin

Just read an article about the "Nuremburg Stadium" where the Nazis used to hold their parades. Apparently it was designed to hold exactly 400 000 brainwashed spectators. Sounds like it was tailor made for our chums and realistically they probably own it by default after winning the first half of the World War Cup single handedly.
Must be about a year ago that Allisbarry exclusively revealed Hearts were now self sufficient?
hibs net has been way off the mark all along. I mean, who'd ah thought it eh ?
Spring 2013 onwards: Self sufficient Hearts! --> Nearly self sufficient --> Cost cutting over summer & all will be fine --> No danger of administration --> Administration --> CVA & Debt free very soon --> CVA agreed in principal --> FOH to take over --> out of admin around Feb --> Budge to take control --> out of Admin in March --> out of Admin in April --> out of Admin in May --> ???

Put simply. Heart of Midlothian FC is dying, slowly but dying.
I hope the 1902, 5-1, Big Team singing supporters feel years of pain and regret while Hearts Newco is created and struggles in the lower leagues before eventually getting back into the professional leagues sharing a stadium with the likes of Livingston.

OUR WORK IS FAR FROM OVER
Foundation chairman Ian Murray considers recent developments
I’ll be honest. By now when you realise I’m about to say something you probably know that it means I’m about to bash the drum and get out the begging bowl. It’s what I’ve done for the last ten months since taking on the chair of the Foundation of Hearts, after all.
So you will understand that there was a genuine sense of relief for me personally, when we were able to confirm Ann Budge’s role within the Foundation, as our funder, and indeed that she will become (as long as the deal goes through) the club’s new executive chairwoman.
My own role as Foundation chairman will change now, and quite rightly the focus will be on Ann and the club. She will lead the club decisively to prepare it for real supporter ownership and will need us all to continue to support the club, the Foundation and her team.
There’s a lot still to be done, so our work is far from over – be in no doubt! We have the broad-based principles of the Foundation’s agreement with BIDCO, but now begin that typically painstaking task of letting the lawyers bash out the detail, which can then be signed upon exiting administration.
Thereafter there’s a process of introducing formal membership to the Foundation, by holding our first AGM, which will happen in a few months’ time. These are very much major administrative processes.
And, back on that old money theme, there’s the most important bit, encouraging you, our amazing supporters, to continue to contribute month in, month out and how we can recognise this commitment properly. This is part of the discussion we will have with you.
But for once I’m not going to ask you to keep contributing, or to share this email with others, or any other “call to action”. I’m just going to say a genuine thank you.
Hopefully I’ve helped to play a part in helping you decide to set up a long-standing commitment to the Foundation, but it is a real team effort. We’re backed by outstanding professional advisers and we have a committed board – a real coalition from across the supporter base, often of differing views but it wouldn’t be football if that wasn’t the case. They are, however, totally united in one sole ambition: to see Hearts survive and prosper. Some of us have had to learn new skills, and we’ve certainly learnt a lot from each other.
We now know the path in front of us – it’s up to a five-year commitment as a starting point, and then when we’ve secured the club from private ownership for the last time, you can decide openly what we do for the future, as Ann said in her email last week. It’s a discussion which I know will be passionate, engaging and constructive.
But for now, I hope everyone’s efforts focus on the immediate future, to backing Ann, to supporting the club, and to contributing to the Foundation of Hearts.
When one of our founder directors coined the phrase that we must ‘create history’, did anyone imagine we would really, genuinely, for sure, have an opportunity that every other football supporter in this country should dream of? I don’t know.
But now fans from Scotland, England and beyond look at what is now (and be in no doubt about this) Scottish football’s greatest supporter movement, and one of its greatest ever stories that adds another colourful chapter to the history of Heart of Midlothian Football Club.
I knew there would be an element of political and personal risk taking on the chair of the Foundation of Hearts. After all, without bringing politics into this, I am a sitting MP, with a very small majority, a significant Shadow Ministerial portfolio and an incredibly busy constituency. Do I regret it? Not for a moment but I have had to re-emphasise time and time again that I have been doing this in my spare time (sometimes I wish my hobby was collecting stamps, it would be easier!).
Hearts for me, like so many, is part of my family and if I could use my spare time to make a real difference then I should. How could I let all those hours and hours of recollection about wonderful Hearts trips and moments with my brother and friends be merely consigned to history?
And do you know the best bit that should excite us all? The journey hasn’t even begun.
Ian Murray MP
Chairman, Foundation of Hearts
AFTER THE DARKEST HOUR
Hearts star Ryan Stevenson writes
As players, hearing that the club was going into administration was a day we were all dreading but a day we knew was eventually going to come. The days, weeks and months that followed have been a real test, seeing people at the club lose their jobs - honest people who love Hearts, who support the club, who loved working there, who have bills and mortgages to pay and families to provide for.
It was truly heartbreaking - something that will live with me forever.
There's a saying that after the darkest hour comes the dawn. Through the Foundation and through every fan that pledges money every month to our club, we are seeing that dawn. Witnessing people making sacrifices and digging deep to keep this club alive is something that you cannot explain in words. For me, it has been truly humbling. It proves clearly that we are more than just a football club; we are a family. We are one HEART still beating and now, with the Foundation at the front, we are only going to get stronger.
Getting Hearts back where it truly belongs is a dream that every fan and every player shares, and together we can make this happen.
On behalf of myself and all the boys, we would like to say thank you for your support. It has been truly amazing, week in, week out. Every time we pull on a Hearts jersey it is with enormous pride, not only because we represent such a great club but also because we represent such amazing, loyal fans like yourself.
Thank you, and all the best
Stevo
NOT ONLY EVOLUTIONARY – IT’S REVOLUTIONARY
MESSAGE FROM ANN BUDGE
Photo: Jeff Holmes
“Since the message I sent to supporters on 18 February, I have had many responses - some by email, some by letter. To everyone who has contacted me, I would like to thank you for taking the time to do so. Some of the correspondence expressed specific concerns; others offered advice. However, all of it has been extremely supportive of what we are trying to achieve and of the part I will play.
“The Foundation of Hearts initiative has, of course, grown out of fans’ commitment to saving our club, and it was clear from the emails and messages I received that this commitment remains as strong and dynamic as ever. I know that at times there may be differences of opinion among us as together we take this project forward. I will reiterate, however, what has been said many times before: that – should the final hurdles be cleared to enable this initiative to move ahead - there will be a new era of openness and transparency in our relationship with you, the supporters. I am very much looking forward to taking on the challenges facing us all.”

Meadowbank is not an option. It's in worse condition than Tynecastle.
Their options would be Murrayfield, Easter road, Livingston or East End Park.
I suspect they would try to make Murrayfield work at first before resorting to one of the other three.

Ian I am an MP Murray
"should the final hurdles be cleared to enable this initiative to move ahead"
I wonder if any of the poor wee lambs, can read that sentence?
Rather than deciding on which players they want, which manager should come in, maybe, just maybe, they might realize their club is slowly getting flushed away. Too be honest, the stench is lingering too long now and I hope the actual flush happens sooner rather than later.
I'm an MP (or "IMP" for short) said "Some of us have had to learn new skills".
With pontification and self-aggrandizement skills deeply ingrained, I imagine he must be talking about face painting, cake baking or setting up direct debits.
I thought the significant thing was the phrase 'should the final hurdles be cleared'.
Not 'when'.
"should the final hurdles be cleared to enable this initiative to move ahead"
The most significant part of the whole statement surely.

Well if it turns out that Hearts do go into liquidation he has, in the grand tradition of politicians everywhere, timed his exit rather nicely. Out of the firing line before the **** hits the fan, loads of publicity and no accountability.
Good to see he reads hibs.net :tee hee:Quote:

Budge will pick up the club name and the cheap unwanted players at the liquidation fire-sale and play them as a rent-a-ground club until they build a new stadium. They might be able to squeeze one in here where it looks like there would be enough room for a wee lowland league compliant stadium.

Don't be daft you silly bitter hobos, this is what all big clubs do. Don't you see they are close to being fan owned? So very close. Of course they will immediately be handing the club over to a sole individual again but that's not important right now.
The MP is pulling out but there's nothing wrong with pulling out, in fact it's an excellent form of contraception. He's just being effective.
Then there's the human colouring book. His statement brings a tear to any true Hearts fans eye. He says it was a day all the Hearts players were dreading but even though some of them have previously said they had no idea when it was coming but that's ok, he's just covering all the bases. He's clearly a Hearts man through and through. He talks about loyalty and he's obviously very loyal to Hearts, apart from yon time he walked out because he wasn't getting paid but Hearts aren't The Rangers and Hearts players can do walking away as long as they come back again and pretend like nothing ever happened.
Like I said, we are just sad bitter hobos. We don't even realise this email was sent on the 5-3-2014. Budge isnae daft.
:cb
I feel even more in their shadow now that they have the biggest supporter movement ever. I'm also envious of their proposed business plan. All other British football fans will be too, no doubt about it.
Reading between the lines....
-Foundation chairman Ian Murray considers recent developments
-as long as the deal goes through

- should the final hurdles be cleared to enable this initiative to move ahead
- there will be a new era
Sounds to me that they know it ain't gonna happen, they will be liquidated and all this is to set up Hearts II, with a 5 year plan to get bak to the top flight, starting form the bottom.
Ian Murray knows this and needs to get back to his day job to save his seat, which he has by a small majority.
The newco journey starts next season ... in league 2 :na na:
I'm sure it was the Lib dems that came 2nd in I'm an MP's seat so he should be safe enough this time around.
The line I like is I’m not going to ask you to keep contributing, or to share this email with others, or any other “call to action”. I’m just going to say a genuine thank you".
Really does look like he has given up the ghost.

I seen this today and I think I have solved the share problem!!
This rubber stamp that the share transfer/thawing is dependent on, is there a chance Hearts have been trying to use the wrong kind of stamp due to a shortage of these master craftsmen?
Perhaps a wax seal is what is really required to do the job but they can't get hold of the correctly embossed stamp! :agree:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-26434818
Maybe they could use one of Gary "Medals" Mackay's many medals to imprint the wax seal on the share transfer document. That ought to do the trick!

I think you just did fat boy.
Some of the rest of the article almost caused me to be sick on my laptop. And I had carrot soup.
Family yam just confirming that he will start going to games next season to help out the club now that budgie is in charge.
I asked but what about FOH and fan ownership dream? Response was that budgie will look after them all with seats on the board. He especially wanted to keep Jackson and will definitely vote for Murray next election. Sadly he isn't his MP But its not my place to tel him

Ian Murray has actually put his job on the line as he could quite easily be voted out at the next elections. Very brave of the guy to do this how many of us would risk their job for Hearts. If he does get voted out we could do no worse than give the lad a job at Tynie.

"One of Scottish footballs greatest ever stories", aye, alright then Bazza!
You can almost picture him leaning against a tree ipad in hand singing I'm a story teller and my story must be told, what a fud!
Murray sounding like an utter cad who has just deposited his load in a big fat lass, and is already pulling on his clothes and making for the door as he tells her how wonderful it all was and promising to phone.
That's some sycophantic two faced crock o' keek from Stevenson
Couldny wait to get out the place and now comes up with that embarrassing b***s***

Chunterring in his case I suspect.
Indeed, quite significant think.
I agree.

Did you vote for him last election ?

So once they are officially relagated, they still can't sell season tickets till they are out of admin. What happens when they are still in admin come the start of next season. Minus 15 and no season money, they could struggle.
I'll hazard a guess that once they are mathematically relegated, they'll start selling Championship season tickets, but ring-fence the money for Budgie. BDO will have to arrange cake bakes or go begging from FoH for tide-over cash...something they've already hinted would be agreeable. Then again, if the admin goes to the close season with no rubber stamp or specified date, they might just pull the chain and flush them away.
#allverycomplex
While renting to them could appeal financially we would have to invest heavily in the pitch to withstand the extra games and a cautionary tale from Germany where I believe 1860 Munich took pity on there beleaguered city neighbours and allowed them to groundshare while finding their feet, that worked out well for 1860 in the long run?
Edit. Having heard or read this tale a while ago I can't find evidence (qquick look around with Google) so I might have made this up!
Selling Season Tickets whilst still in administration could be perceived as creating a creditor as they cannot guarantee the club will still be around to fulfil their obligation. I don't think they can enter in to a binding agreement with FOH to loan them any money for the same reason.
You know what all these statements reminded me of? The Eulogy for the dearly departed at a funeral!!
TICK TOCK
Dunfermline went into admin in March last year and didn't exit until December. Season tickets went on sale in May. The only proviso was that they couldn't offer monthly payment options
http://www.dafc.co.uk/articles/20130...244980_3167063
Note the last paragraph
There is no suggestion that FoH would loan money to run the club, it would be a gift
Likewise. I've emailed him telling him such. He has tried a grovelling response but has been swiftly told in no uncertain terms that I won't vote for a politician who openly supports corrupt and charity robbing institutions. He didn't like that series of emails very much :greengrin
Actually, it's the other way round - at least in recent history, not sure about way back when TBH. Bayern München took pity on 1860 München who have a stadium in Grünwalder Strasse that they were unable to renovate or use from 95 onwards; they then played in the Olympic Stadium in Munich on alternate Saturdays sharing with Bayern, before finally moving to the new sort of jointly financed Allianz stadium. Bayern then saved 1860 from insolvency after tales of corruption and financial shenanigans, buying back the 1860 share of the stadium in full, I believe (not really sure) ... some Jordanian businessman has now invested in 1860 München, so maybe better times are ahead for the club
Yes, you're right that they can sell them if they ring fence them until they are out of administration. I wasn't meaning to disagree with you on that front. I was meaning (as a continuation of what I was saying earlier) that using the ST money to help keep the club afloat can't happen because it would create creditors.
On the point of FOH gifting them money, it could be dangerous. If they gift them a large wad of cash and they still get liquidated they'd have less money to spend in the liquidation sale. At that stage, FOH and Budge would be as well biding their time and picking up the football bits on the cheap, minus the PBS.
How come there is nobody on Kickback that can refute the things on here, without resorting to talking about 5-1? Surely they can do better than talk about Ann Budge like she is an internationally respected businesswoman?
I'm not saying she isn't, it's just that their ability to judge owners had fallen short so often that they must have doubts. Maybe someone that knows about psychology, or who knows a psychologist, or knows someone who has been to a psychologist can help?
I'm more concerned reading on their twitter page that Tam Cowan charges £800 fees to attend events !!
All that cash to watch that humourless scotch egg on legs - surely a fraud there ?
He replied to me way back in the beginning with an incredible response, agreeing with me it was awful that bills and creditors had been left high and dry, then reiterating how much work he did in the community and the Hearts stuff was in his own time - asked to be removed from his mailing list and I still receive his newsletter - he can't even do the simple tasks 😀
My non footballing friends most definitely aren't voting for him and they are labour through and through - they cannot abide him.
I was tearing tears of pride with that valedictorian farewell speech/plea for an executive role when the money starts pouring in....
In his spare time eh? I wonder if there were calls made from the office or e-mails from his Parliamentary account.
It will be dangerous, but we're talking about desperate people. Keeping the club afloat would be a gamble but the alternative would mean the cesspit being put on the open market, and there's little doubt it would fetch more than Budge and FoH could afford. The gamble is that they get the shares sooner rather than later, and a few hundred grand would be a small price to pay...and a lot cheaper than having to find somewhere to play next season.
I would add that FoH would be gambling with the mugs money, so no real skin off their nose. The mugs would go for it if asked
