I'll hazard a guess that once they are mathematically relegated, they'll start selling Championship season tickets, but ring-fence the money for Budgie. BDO will have to arrange cake bakes or go begging from FoH for tide-over cash...something they've already hinted would be agreeable. Then again, if the admin goes to the close season with no rubber stamp or specified date, they might just pull the chain and flush them away. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I've never heard of that but 1860 almost went bust a few years ago and were bailed out by Bayern Munich.
So if the first tale is true, they were paid back in the long run.
Actually, Bayern also helped Dortmund out of a hole by loaning them €2M.

On the point of FOH gifting them money, it could be dangerous. If they gift them a large wad of cash and they still get liquidated they'd have less money to spend in the liquidation sale. At that stage, FOH and Budge would be as well biding their time and picking up the football bits on the cheap, minus the PBS.

How come there is nobody on Kickback that can refute the things on here, without resorting to talking about 5-1? Surely they can do better than talk about Ann Budge like she is an internationally respected businesswoman?
I'm not saying she isn't, it's just that their ability to judge owners had fallen short so often that they must have doubts. Maybe someone that knows about psychology, or who knows a psychologist, or knows someone who has been to a psychologist can help?

I'm more concerned reading on their twitter page that Tam Cowan charges £800 fees to attend events !!
All that cash to watch that humourless scotch egg on legs - surely a fraud there ?

I was tearing tears of pride with that valedictorian farewell speech/plea for an executive role when the money starts pouring in....
In his spare time eh? I wonder if there were calls made from the office or e-mails from his Parliamentary account.

I would add that FoH would be gambling with the mugs money, so no real skin off their nose. The mugs would go for it if askedLast edited by Jack Hackett; 05-03-2014 at 06:11 PM.

It's the classic behaviour of cowardly lickspittles. "Mr" Romanov isn't around to cow-tow to any more so they act like a pack of jackals, lashing out and bristling up trying to act big (5-1, 1902, Junkies etc, etc, ad-infinitum.) Their current, possibly fatal crisis means they'll slaver over all the good news and if anybody questions or doubts, the dissenter is rounded upon and snarled down or portrayed as crazy with accompanying cackles. Those who throw scraps of spin at them are lauded and nuzzled up against in the hope that someone, sometime soon, will emerge for them to look up to and the forelock tugging can recommence. "Mrs" Budge isn't quite there as yet as after weeks of being fed the "fan owned" spin she's only now become a public figure to them but I bet a few are practicing their curtsey's already, just like some of them used to unconsciously bow to "Lord" Faults when he was reeking their gaff out. It's in the DNA of these petty establishment institutions like HMFC to require a strictly marked out hierarchy. Little Johnny Jambo knows his place and thinking for himself is totally a no go area.

For all those suggesting they use our stadium, or Meadowbank, or Livingston ...
Why?
Why would we/they want to rent to a semi professional, totally bitter, outfit?
Why would they need anything that size once the mythical 400,000 fans, already down to 7/8000 (probably closer to 07) S.H.I.T. followers, like their, did you know I'm a MP, just call me Ian, scarper?

I'll post this, as I found it interesting. I'll caveat, I know no more than I post, and cannot name names beyond those that are obvious, as I don't know them.
I'm sure in some quarters this will be interpreted as hobo-pish, but there you go.
I was out with a mate last night. He has a work colleague who is a big Hibbie. This colleague is from a hibs-supporting family, his dad apparently a big supporter and active with the club.
His aunt, however, is a jambo. And 'poised' to become active in 'that' club.
As a reasonably close family, albeit with split allegiances, this latest development has caused some concern.
The aunt's position is simple -
1. All goes to plan, she's no worse off, has saved her club and is a hero. Queen of herts if you will.
2. DDs all dry up, FoH can't buy the club, she gets it for a song, flogs it to someone else with more money and less sense, makes some cash, saves her club, is a hero, blah, blah, blah.
However. Her plan, under both scenarios 1 and 2 involves her spending not a bolt beyond the 2.5m initial outlay. Regardless of division, and quality of player available.
The family concern is that jonny yam, used to WC stars, will quite quickly expect the aunt to start spending some of her reported 40m pdq. They are worried that the massed hordes will quickly turn on the Queen and her good intentions quickly become a bad decision.
Ultimately, whether this happens, whether she's bothered with the flak is of no interest to me. The words "not a bolt" were all I was interested in.
As I say, all I know, and if others can dispute anything then fair-dos. Just posting what I was told.

There's an aspect here we haven't yet discussed! A woman, a lady by all reports, owning their football club.
Football has long been regarded as a male stronghold. Indeed reports from clubs where ladies have [had] power suggest a real struggle.
The yams, like most clubs, have had powerful and successful men [ok I'll concede], at the helm, pulling the strings; a few hangers on appear to consider themselves in the same bracket.
I've already had yampals talking about the Budgie Burd in the manner of 'her indoors' and other terms suggesting a wee bit of sweet talking and she'll be putty in their hands.
Another wee thing to look out for as this blows up in their faces.Space to let
