Not a transfer but Luton Town
Ben Kensell has been appointed as our chief revenue officer, a newly created role at Kenilworth Road.
Welcome, Ben!
Would be letting Megwa go. Never seen him have a great game on tv
Migouel Alfarela rumour seems to have died down
“Reports from Greece indicated that PAOK Thessaloniki were interested, and Goal.pl reported that Hibernian from Scotland were also monitoring his situation. However, interest from those clubs hasn’t materialised into a formal offer, so that scenario is also no longer realistic.”

These stories totally overlook that - while we know we are in Europe - the outcome of the SC Final next weekend will have a massive impact on our budget for signings.
We'd be mad to be bidding until we know if we have guaranteed group stage European football, and we have a week to wait still to know that
I wouldn't rule this guy or others out, until we know where we stand for Europe & his agent will know that
Rocky over triantis every day of the week for me
St Pauli apparently made contact with Sunderland over Triantis.🙁
Jackson Irvine is the captain there and it would be reasonable to assume he is influencing this. On the face of it, it is concerning. But If Triantis is going to make the Aussie squad for the World Cup he is going to be needing regular game time to achieve this. He will not be guaranteed that at Sunderland or St Pauli. We have to hope that he recognises this, and he needs to make a good football decision in the summer and not a money decision to progress his career. Pretty sure he is going to have plenty to think about in the summer. But he will need to wait till he knows the outcome of the Sheffield Utd v Sunderland play off and the Scottish Cup Final before he can really start thinking about it
They're 3 points ahead of third bottom Heidenheim with 1 game to go. Much better goal difference as well - 13 better than Heidenheim. Third bottom in the Bundesliga 1 goes into a playoff against third top of Bundesliga 2, ISTR.

Is James Forrest leaving Celtic?
We are looking at a defender that is with the U20 Scotland squad next week.

Ex-Leeds Academy centre back, signed a deal with Dunfermline to the summer. Was their player of the month for February and March. Fans on twitter begging him to stay saying he has been outstanding.
Stuart Armstrong, released by Sheffield Wednesday. Might be looking for a move home at 33?
See Rockys brother has tweeted a person signing a contract, with Hibs and Rocky mentioned saying now its time. Is he at wind up or he extending his stay.
Rocky congratulating the women on his Instagram, loves the club and a clear sign he's staying if you ask me :greengrin
Ooooh Rocky Bushiri,
:flag::flag::flag:
Had a look on the Aberdeen forum and see there’s a few that think Nisbet will be signing for us , be very surprised if there’s anything in that considering it’s been said a few times about taking in the right type of of characters .
If they’d offered enough we would have sold him.
Nisbet still got a year on millwall contract
How many times do we need to go over the same things just to get reactions, He is a real good player and will always score goals, if Hibs wanted him he would be a great signing, we will need some quality next season to compete on two fronts.
:flag::flag::flag:
Ronan Hale might be a better bet than Nisbet. He’s scored more goals this season (for a struggling side) and he’s a couple of years younger. He’d be cheaper too.
Ryan Alebiosu will be a free agent after impressing on loan at St Mirren. He could be good competition for C Cadden.
Tawanda Maswanhise at Motherwell could be a good super sub option if Youan leaves. He must be among the fastest players in the country.
Not so sure he is tbh . Noticed on the Aberdeen forum one says ‘ I’m not convinced he wants to be here’ which was much what I thought about him at us .
Also one says in the Celtic game when a fan took ill that Thelin had the players in a huddle when talking to them , Nisbet was the only one not in it , guy does say maybe he’s reading to much into it but I do think that’s a bit Nisbet like .
Good shouts , anyone is better than Nisbet , occasional player.
Call me greedy, but if we do strike a deal with Bushiri. Faced with a European stint, I'd still be keen on picking up Porteous.
You made the point on the Youan thread that you didn’t believe there was anything in the Youan rumours and debate because Gray hasn’t publically criticised him, which isn’t unreasonable. However you appear to have made your mind up on Nisbet and his attitude based on what some Aberdeen fans speculating. Would Thelin not call him out if there was an issue?
I'd guess Millwall will be looking to sell this summer, unless another mid/lower EFL take a gamble then there's not many places for Kevin to go, a move abroad?
Would Aberdeen think he's done enough to warrant a perm move?
Boyle, Bowie and Nisbet should get you goals.
Not really basing anything on the Aberdeen fans speculation but more on when he was our player in the moment he arrived through the door he seemed to be looking for a move away ( or least it felt like that to me ) .
The Birmingham bid getting rejected it didn’t feel like he was entirely happy about it and if anything looked like he was in a mood / pissed off about it ..
Gray I think is quite a strong character and was a leader on the pitch that we know well having been at our club ten years or so.
Jimmy Thelin i know nothing about or that he even existed until he got the Aberdeen job so I don’t know how he’d handle it . I do think Gray wouldn’t be speaking as positively about Youan if there were issues there though.
Bobby Wales signs for Swansea.
Wonder if that tells us anything about Mykola’s future?
Thats a very good point, I'd have him back at Easter Road for next season.
You would think SDG would want his main targets in as soon as possible to be ready for Europe, Striker wise if we sell Youan i think we will go down the older experienced free transfer if there is one available who they think would be good and a Loan deal.
If you believed everything read on here no one would want Youan but they do.
Forums are full of misinformation.
You do think “that’s a bit like Nisbet” doubt a man who has lost his own father would be so disrespectful. Perhaps he was taking time to reflect.
As I say full of misinformation.
I have a feeling we will find out about any deals after the Scottish Cup final as that will surely affect the budget.
Your right in forums do have there fair share of misinformation which is why I don’t believe Youan has faked his injuries or refused to play going by the manager’s reaction when talking about him ..
Maybe he was taking time to reflect , who knows but we can only go by information wither it be right or wrong and make up our own minds and I think I read on the Pars forum they predicted he’d be angling for a move away after signing for us which it certainly felt like he was , when it didn’t happen I certainly got the impression we had an unhappy/moody player ( maybe that’s only me that thought that though) .
He went to Millwall and the fans were certainly not happy with him there and now at Aberdeen theres a few who are now again got doubts about him or at least asking questions ..
I do think he’s a good player but it does feel like to me that at most clubs Kevin Nisbet has went to there have been unrest with him either wanting a move or fans generally questioning the guys attitude… doesn’t really fit in with the right type of character the club have repeatedly mentioned about wanting in a player IMO .
Nisbet for me too huffy
And only ever thinking about his next big move
We’ve moved on and so has he
Agree about Stokes even though he contributed in a massive way , Kamberi was one that I thought had a character that was all wrong.
Absolutely down to Gray if he thinks bringing back Nisbet would work though my gut feeling on it is if he was available when Aberdeen signed him why didn’t he go after him then rather than bringing in Myko .
I don’t think we wanted him then and I don’t think we’ll want him now , will be very surprised if we do in truth.
We definitely need a new GK to challenge Smith. Reckon with the connections of the Black Knights it will be Paulsen from Auckland.
We 100% need a new centre half, Right Wing Back, Centre Mid and a Forward! Not much to ask. But 5 players of a higher quality than what we have has to be the aim especially with a potential European campaign
Anyone know what’s happened/happening to Kwon?
Done really well for St Mirren last season and when he first signed for us I thought he looked quality, despite us struggling.
His confidence and form then completely went during our poor run and he then picked up an injury
Saw on Instagram he posted ‘see you again Hibees’
Be stunned if we sign him though
I wouldn’t be adverse to Nisbet & Porteous coming back to the club permanently or on loan. Need an experienced squad for next season. The lad Hale is definitely worth considering as well. Can also supplement with loan deals from the Black Knights consortium to fill in any gaps. Don’t want European venture to negatively impact our domestic ambitions of at least 3rd place again and some silverware.
All 3 have impressed and had good seasons.
Alebioisu is one I only noticed midweek but thought he was very good, checked twitter and St Mirren fans love him.
Maswanhise has impressed me all season and thought he may be a good replacement for Youan with his pace, directness and goal threat.
Hales a tough one, had a brilliant season with the amount of goals but I can’t say I’ve noticed him much. He does seem pretty clinical though with some of the finishes I’ve saw.
Other couple of players that have played in the league, had good seasons snd we may be interested in
Richard Taylor - Out of contract
Josh Mulligan - Out of contract
Mackenzie Kirk - 8 league goals in his first full flight season for team at the bottom of the league
Simon Murray - We failed to get him last season, but now we’re in Europe and Docherty has just been sacked from Dundee, could they swing it?
Callum Slatterly - Always impressed me and been flying since he came back. In a position we’re well stocked though and has had injury problems in the past. Recently signed a contract extension
Oluwasaen Adewumi - Just turned 20, good goal and assist returns in the league. Really impressed me a couple of times and was only on loan at Dundee.
Boyd- Munce - Can we sign yet another St Mirren centre mid? Another that’s impressed me and reminds me of Callum McGregor. Unlikely to be a position we look to sign though imo unless it’s someone of similar ilk to Triantis
Jordan Amissah - apparently been brilliant since signing for Ross Counrt. Young keeper and in a position we’re we’ll desperately need to add numbers to
Sam Dalby - 15 goals and 2 assists in 35 games, 25 years old and out of contract
Johnny Kenny- More game time with us and in Europe? He’s previously played and scored in Europe too
Not suggesting we sign all of, or any of them, and I imagine we’ll be scouting far and wide for players.
But I think SDG will likely to keep a base of players that know the league, some good options available. We’ll also need a bigger squad for Europe.
Given the Le Fondre and Gayle signings and looking at the out of contract players I can see us going for Steven Fletcher
I don't want Porteous anywhere near Easter Road. I never rated him before and I doubt if he has actually improved.
Whilst thinking of the spirit in the team just now and our dressing room, some words come to mind.
Applecart Upset Don't
Hibs lose a goal and he's standing pointing the finger at others.
Our Band of Brothers wouldn't tolerate that and the friction begins.
If what you say is true then I doubt David Gray would want him. If it's just another case of a blowhard fan thinking he knows what's what, with no real clue, then don't be surprised if Gray does go for it. After all, he'll have a better idea than any of us.
The idea that what YOU want anywhere near Easter Road actually matters is laughable. What an entitled way to open a post.
Exactly that.
Porteous big problem was he couldn't accept when he made a mistake. It was always someone else's fault.
Probably explains why he fell out of favour at Watford and gradually worked his way back onto the bench at Preston.
Can't fault his passion for the club but he's a liability.
The spirit and togetherness this squad has shown this season I haven’t seen to often over the years. I’d like to see us try and build on / retain that . That’s the reason as a fan I’d have concerns about signing Nisbet or Porteous . I honestly thought Porteous antics towards the end weren’t good at all in shouting and pointing fingers at folk. Two players I wouldn’t be in the least disappointed if we avoided signing.
If the spirit in the squad is as strong as it appears, then the dressing room will manage any potential issues without a problem.
It’s not as if they don’t all shout at each other every now and again as it is, you see it all the time. It’s professional sport, it happens and we’re no different. I don’t know what gives people the impression that Porteous would upset things with the squad.
I hadn’t realized Bobby Wales had been pinched by Swansea. £350k a pittance for them and looked a quality young striker.
Iredale strikes me as the type that would be quick to call out another player putting another down or acting a bit too big for their boots
I remember the Dundee game up there when Bursik had given away the goal right before half time. Walking off at half time and it was clear as day he was trying to blame Iredale for the pass back to him (which he should easily have dealt with). Iredale certainly didn’t miss him in response to that and told him in no uncertain terms what he should have done.
Surprised to read Angus Gunn without a club - probably way out our wage structure, but the Europe carrot is a big one for those with no realistic chance elsewhere.
He has also done level 1 & 2 coaching badges and might be an additional benefit to him & us
