    Nisbet for me too huffy

And only ever thinking about his next big move

We’ve moved on and so has he
If the bit in bold is true, then next season is the perfect season to have him on loan. He's in the last year of his Millwall contract, and if he's wanting a move somewhere else then he'll have to have a really good season next year.

Given the Le Fondre and Gayle signings and looking at the out of contract players I can see us going for Steven Fletcher

I don't want Porteous anywhere near Easter Road. I never rated him before and I doubt if he has actually improved.
Whilst thinking of the spirit in the team just now and our dressing room, some words come to mind.
    Applecart Upset Don't

Hibs lose a goal and he's standing pointing the finger at others.
Our Band of Brothers wouldn't tolerate that and the friction begins.

All 3 have impressed and had good seasons.

Alebioisu is one I only noticed midweek but thought he was very good, checked twitter and St Mirren fans love him.

Maswanhise has impressed me all season and thought he may be a good replacement for Youan with his pace, directness and goal threat.

Hales a tough one, had a brilliant season with the amount of goals but I can’t say I’ve noticed him much. He does seem pretty clinical though with some of the finishes I’ve saw.

Other couple of players that have played in the league, had good seasons snd we may be interested in

Richard Taylor - Out of contract

Josh Mulligan - Out of contract

Mackenzie Kirk - 8 league goals in his first full flight season for team at the bottom of the league

Simon Murray - We failed to get him last season, but now we’re in Europe and Docherty has just been sacked from Dundee, could they swing it?

Callum Slatterly - Always impressed me and been flying since he came back. In a position we’re well stocked though and has had injury problems in the past. Recently signed a contract extension

Oluwasaen Adewumi - Just turned 20, good goal and assist returns in the league. Really impressed me a couple of times and was only on loan at Dundee.

Boyd- Munce - Can we sign yet another St Mirren centre mid? Another that’s impressed me and reminds me of Callum McGregor. Unlikely to be a position we look to sign though imo unless it’s someone of similar ilk to Triantis

Jordan Amissah - apparently been brilliant since signing for Ross Counrt. Young keeper and in a position we’re we’ll desperately need to add numbers to

Sam Dalby - 15 goals and 2 assists in 35 games, 25 years old and out of contract

Johnny Kenny- More game time with us and in Europe? He’s previously played and scored in Europe too

Not suggesting we sign all of, or any of them, and I imagine we’ll be scouting far and wide for players.

But I think SDG will likely to keep a base of players that know the league, some good options available. We’ll also need a bigger squad for Europe.
Have a wee look at Roman Hales , player profile , he’s played a lot of European ties, in the conference league, and scored a lot of goals, once getting 4 in one game.
26 year old , and now coming into his prime.

If what you say is true then I doubt David Gray would want him. If it's just another case of a blowhard fan thinking he knows what's what, with no real clue, then don't be surprised if Gray does go for it. After all, he'll have a better idea than any of us.

The idea that what YOU want anywhere near Easter Road actually matters is laughable. What an entitled way to open a post.

That last paragraph - is that not the whole point of a fans forum? To come on and give your opinion? Hardly entitled

    That's nonsense.

I don't want Rocky to leave. I don't want Hibs to lose games of football and I don't want us to resign Harry McKirdy.

    Exactly that.

Porteous big problem was he couldn't accept when he made a mistake. It was always someone else's fault.

Probably explains why he fell out of favour at Watford and gradually worked his way back onto the bench at Preston.

Can't fault his passion for the club but he's a liability.

Id imagine Ammisah would want guarantees of getting the gloves fulltime for a team after the season he’s had. A signing target for the ‘Smith’s only average’ brigade.

The spirit and togetherness this squad has shown this season I haven’t seen to often over the years. I’d like to see us try and build on / retain that . That’s the reason as a fan I’d have concerns about signing Nisbet or Porteous . I honestly thought Porteous antics towards the end weren’t good at all in shouting and pointing fingers at folk. Two players I wouldn’t be in the least disappointed if we avoided signing.

Ooosh! What a OTT reaction. I think all the comments the poster made were fair and I agree 100%. Porto would disrupt things IN MY OPINION.I feel the same about Nisbet too to be honest.

If the spirit in the squad is as strong as it appears, then the dressing room will manage any potential issues without a problem.

It’s not as if they don’t all shout at each other every now and again as it is, you see it all the time. It’s professional sport, it happens and we’re no different. I don’t know what gives people the impression that Porteous would upset things with the squad.

I hadn’t realized Bobby Wales had been pinched by Swansea. £350k a pittance for them and looked a quality young striker.

Iredale strikes me as the type that would be quick to call out another player putting another down or acting a bit too big for their boots

I remember the Dundee game up there when Bursik had given away the goal right before half time. Walking off at half time and it was clear as day he was trying to blame Iredale for the pass back to him (which he should easily have dealt with). Iredale certainly didn’t miss him in response to that and told him in no uncertain terms what he should have done.

Very possibly, but with the size of the egos we're talking about, there would undoubtedly be friction which we don't need.

Surprised to read Angus Gunn without a club - probably way out our wage structure, but the Europe carrot is a big one for those with no realistic chance elsewhere.

He has also done level 1 & 2 coaching badges and might be an additional benefit to him & us

The last time the pair of them played together under a decent manager we finished 3rd (63 points) and never failed to reach Hampden in the cups (4 SFs & 2 finals).

Oops getting mixed up with his Dad. He could still be though

Gray has proved all season he can get the best out of people and iron out their biggest flaws, if anyone thinks he couldn’t get Porto back to his best you’ve lost the plot

Porto Rocky Iredale would be the best defence outwith OF by far

I totally forgot that.... and having checked Dad played for Hibs when Angus would have been between 2 1/2 & 5 1/2.... maybe thats why Angus is / is thought a Hibby...

Anyway sounds like its worth a conversation - if he wants to be in future Scotland squads he will want to be playing

He played for Norwich from 8 years old (as a striker) before swapping to goals i'm reading on Norwich fishy site...

Anyway - family connection 29 years old good keeper and worth a conversation at least
