The more grandiose the funnier.
The EEN claims they have "outdone" Celtic and Rangers.

😂 hilarious.
Well done Hearts, you have restored pride in Scottish football by beating the team third in the Latvian league, who have played nearly an entire seasons worth of games already, by a posts width in the third tier of European football.
I might just pop down to the plaza and applaud the Shrubhill house tribute act that is the new main stand.
God, the glass curtain still gives me the horn.
'impressive win'
'gutsy win'
'doggedly held firm'
'showed admirable grit'
 FFS they were facing the 3rd best team in Latvia! I'd expect most SPL teams would beat them comfortably. Anyone who watched their games against Linfield would know that. Look at the stats in those games they got their draws, a miracle they managed 2 points in the group.
Nothing about those pumpings earlier in the group or the fact that in the last 13 years Hearts only wins in Europe have came against teams from those mighty Baltic states of Estonia & Latvia.
Nauseating pro-Jambo propaganda from BBC as usual.
Craig Levein didn't see a player in Mcginn . On about Tynies wonderful atmosphere .world beaters again . Ask Neilson what they can take out of Turkey hopefully a good stuffing :greengrin.

Hearts have pretty much more or less won the Europa League.
Can only offer them grudging congratulations.
Took Levein 96 minutes to out think the mighty Lichtenstein at home as manager remember 😂
A team from the 8th best league beating one in a league ranked 35th and crowds of 600 can’t be sniffed at 😂 giant strides being made at Tynecastle since Birkikara, Brora, and Alloa 😜 that’s progress 👍
Hilarious thread on jokeback about how proud of the walk up on last night's game, must be getting jealous of us always doing it 🤣🤣🤣💚💚💚
How can they say nearly 20,000 sell out when the away stand was virtually empty.
Think the att was 15.5k or so, over 3 games maybe no far off 50k, decent cash Re
3rd place is a gold mine and up for grabs
Why, yes they were. I just googled it. "The Hertz Corporation is an American car rental company based in Estero, Florida. The company operates its namesake Hertz brand, along with the brands Dollar Rent A Car, Firefly Car Rental and Thrifty Car Rental". Interesting reading Mr Bridge Hibs. So, who the **** are Hearts then? :-)
Yes, it is.
I'm sure the Hertz now that they are out of Europe will start focussing on the SPFL and once the Thursday games are out of the way they'll start getting better results. Aberdeen look better this year, but still prone to the poor games. St Mirren are the one to watch but depends on whether they have the staying power to last until the end of the season. I'd be disappointed if St Mirren beat Hibs to 3rd spot, given the 'gold mine' that is available to the team finishing 3rd.
Hibs? Well, this experiment may be a success and these young 'stars' that we've recruited may get better and better. But it's clearly a risk. As above, I'd be really disappointed if the experiment backfires and an underserving / lucky team gets 3rd.
That’s your preference. Others on hear call them what they want. No one else seems to have any issues or problems with that.
Tbh Hibs fans/supporters will know who people mean when they are referred to them as Hertz.
As for other people from other teams I’m sure they would get the jist!
You have pushed this point for quite a while now and it’s become very tiresome! You call them what you want and others will do the same.

Yam-economics were in full force at work today. Some boy reckons despite getting pumped every game, they have made more money than they would for winning the league…
Can we not just all agree that Hertz Car Rental have never bumped any money from charities to fund their business aims, nor have they claimed an exceptional relationship to the lady Haig poppy fund but still failed to hand cash over to them, whereas Heart of midlothian have?
Simples.

Had enough of all this Herts talk.
Morton 2 Inverness 0. Efe making his debut for Morton.
i swear it always rains in Greenock
Efe having a stormer for Morton
3-0 the Greenockians
That's a hilarious own goal by ICT. Don't need to be a lip reader to work out what Billy "Doddsy" Dodds made of it.
Birmingham 2 QPR 0
Queens Park are going to be this seasons Arbroath
Dundalk 2-0 up against Bohemians .both our players on and Hauge has one of the goals . Haven't seen much of it .
Dougie Imrie has done a superb job with Morton so far. Imagine he'll be on the radar of bigger clubs.
Got to love Efe Ambrose. Rolls Royce of a defender who strolled every game and I really enjoyed his mazy, unpredictable wanders with the ball when at Hibs. That was a great side and watching him was great entertainment.
Ruddy saves Dykes penalty. Birmingham 2 QPR 0 80 mins
Queens park blew it with 3 mins remaining 2-2 FT
I believe it was £3.35 million for winning the league last season, so I imagine it will be quite similar this year.
Winning the Premiership currently gets you into the group stage of the Champions League which is a guaranteed £13.5 million so that's about £17 million.
Hearts got just over £2 million for finishing 3rd and about £2.5 million for getting to the Conference League group stage and a further £860,000 for their two wins v RFS.
In short their winnings from the Conference League are nowhere near to what they would have been for winning the league.
Man city should be ahead in this
