Does this mean that statistically he's in the top two CBs in the league?
Superb, I must say I was surprised to see such a finished player who needs replaced statistically one of the best centre halfs in Scotland.
Without looking, Martin Boyle and Josh Doig?
More realistically, no one from any team but Rangers?
I heard he'd been crap all season.. .

Good to see Odoffin in there. I said weeks ago I'd like to see us go for him and I am now statistically correct :greengrin
A really objective, unbiased view must surely be very hard to argue with.
“Time for a change” though apparently.
Some on here think a good footballer should be replaced like a pair of curtains. Unfortunately, being called up for Scotland meant nothing, and even this won’t change their mind about Paul Hanlon.
Definitely one of the better centre half’s in the league :agree:
Still reckon Paul and Daz is our strongest centre half pairing.
He's been immense for us for the most part throughout his career.
Shamefully used as a scapegoat by some.
Cup winning legend, ruddy good centre half and by all accounts a consummate professional.
We're lucky to have him.
I wouldn't place too much emphasis on that team considering Alan McGregor is not the goalkeeper. He's been the best keeper in the country by an absolute mile this season.
Ryan Christie is in that team and my eyes have been telling me he's been poor this season.
Interesting rating system they use.
Also interesting when looking at the ratings of the rest of our squad this season against their scoring system.

They have Hanlon as being our best player statistically?
Hanlon with 1 motm where as Newell has 5 motm for example.
Never having been his biggest fan, I think Hanlon has had a good season. Easily our best centre half this season. Don’t think there can be too many in the league who have had a better season.
Still don’t think stats tell the whole story. Christie, for instance, has been largely garbage this season.
It’s based on the average rating throughout the season, McGregor has had almost nothing to do in a load of games this season due to Rangers being so dominant. Dundee Utd keeper faces a lot more attacks so has had more to do.
Obviously McGregor is a better goalie.
It was the same when Hanlon was called up for Scotland earlier this season. Instead of acknowledging that he’d been called up for his good performances, we actually had Hibs fans saying that the fact he didn’t play meant Clarke doesn’t rate him.
Some people won’t change their mind, regardless of what’s actually happening.
