Letter From San Diego

 

It gave me great pleasure recently whilst on holiday in the U.S., to meet a Hibs fan (and prolific contributor to HHHT and the Hibs List), especially as he has the same surname as myself! As far as I know, we're not related, but as I discovered when John (HTH) Inglis took me to the "Shakespere" bar, we both like the same drink (although his capacity is much greater than mine!).

San Diego is a lovely city with a perfect climate (although walking round Sea World in glorious sunshine with a hangover is not recommended) and John and his family entertained us well.

As you can see from the photo, John was well pleased to receive a London Hibs T Shirt (and keyring) for his contributions to HHHT.

As can be seen from the next photo, John and I attempted to persuade Peter the Penguin at Sea World to join London Hibs.

Before I met up with John, I managed to catch the second half of the Motherwell game on ERIN Live! in Las Vegas (kick off 8am local time - I don't know how the Aussie boys do it!). I got some strange looks as I went into the business centre of the Mandaly Bay Hotel to use their PCs with my Hibs top on! The first update to the prediction competition was emailed from there!
