That's because we're pushing too many players forward to try and compensate for our slow wasteful play in possession. When was the last time we had a 3 on 2 or 2 on 1 situation against an opposition team? Our style of play is all wrong and each team we play sets up the same way against us and it's highly effective at either grinding out a draw or taking all 3 points against us if they have any level of quality in attack, which St Mirren does.

A seasoned manager who's had his teams punching above their weight for most of his career wasn't deemed good enough by many. David Gray has been hung out and has no chance with this squad.
